Loved the location, proximity to the beach, Main Street and facilities. Was clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet given its above the only pub in town! The staff were super friendly, the lady at the desk explained to us that due to Covid, our room would not be serviced until we departed, and if we needed extra towels or toiletries to let them know, and we were ok with that. Our room was sort of in the middle, looking out to a guest courtyard, no ocean views or balcony, but we were very comfortable indeed. The showers had great water pressure, and the bed was super comfy! I can’t comment on the pillows as we always bring our own, but they looked fluffy! We had plenty of space to put all our gear, and our trusty coffee machine that we don’t leave home without. We had family staying in the caravan park across the road, so being able to park the car and walk everywhere was great!

We didn’t like having to insert the key tag into the thingy to turn on the lights, the bathroom light ran off this thing too, and in the middle of the night we had to light up the whole room just to go to the loo! Due to Covid I assume, a kettle was provided and some paper cups, no crockery or toaster or microwave. Luckily, we always travel with a fully stocked picnic bag and were able to make breakky and lunch when needed. We chose to use the side entrance stairs or the back door leading to the car park to get to our room, as checking in with the service nsw app each time we came through the pub was at times a lengthy process (we fully support this system)

Location was excellent. Restaurant was great with great nenu. Pizzas were delicious. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Hard to check in after hours. Aircon didn’t work, room was extraordinarily hot.

The young lady who worked on reception was very friendly and obliging, a real gem. Excellent location.

The hotel takes one nights accommodation out of your account immediately after you book? “Policy” they say? There should be warning about this. Also the food prices in the restaurant are extremely exorbitant. Everything is much too expensive for what you get.

We liked that it was close to everything and the kids loved the games room.

Rooms are dated - stained furniture. Shower could do with a scrub. Although it offered a great restaurant/bar facility, it was expensive to eat and we felt not always an appropriate place for the kids to be. There was a lot of "cussing" coming from the pool table area which we could also hear from our room. Great place overall, just not for a stay with kids.

I didn't get the room I booked for, I booked for 4 separate beds, they put us in a different room due to air conditioning not working in our room & the new room had 3 separate beds. Due to the pub / hotel below rooms, was a little noisy.

The property is close to everything, across the road from the beach. Shops, pharmacy, dining and coffee. Our room had some bugs and I got couple of insect bites. Otherwise, everything else was fine

The sliding door in room 1 was very very difficult to open to get onto balcony. Some slip hazards on steps outside to car park, looked like melted chocolate ice cream. No microwave

The property was very clean and well set out. The soaps and shampoo etc were nicely presented. The air conditioner was good . Quiet room even though attached to the Hotel.

Nice and close to the beach and shops - restaurant underneath (the food was good and the staff were friendly). The room was quite large and comfortable.

The bathroom was very small and mouldy looking. I'm not saying it was dirty, but it definitely needs a re-model. We also had trouble with the sliding of the door out to the verandah.
