Breakfast on the balconey was amazing! Host was friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

The room was a bit cold but the host did provide a little heater which helped.

The breakfast on the terrace each morning was fantastic and our trip was lovely! Luigi and Francesco were wonderful and extremely accommodating, always willing to help at all points throughout our journey. We are excited to go back some day!

Nothing bad to say! It’s a bit of a hike up from the beach but not an issue for anyone able bodied. Definitely recommend the road over the stairs.

Hosts Luigi and Francesca were the best hosts - nothing was too much trouble, great comms before the trip, super helpful, friendly… and funny. Equally the breakfast and service staff were excellent and thorough. We had a brilliant stay in Positano - thanks guys 🙏

Exceptional service - we were met by friendly staff, informed of potential opportunities and best ways around, as well as offered advice whenever required. Breakfast is outstanding - fresh fruits and mozzarella salad both available. Restaurants suggested by the host for dinner and lunch were great both in terms of food and pricing levels.

Breakfast was amazing and the view incredible. Staff were fantastic. Very attentive, provided us with so much help on directions, attractions to see, restaurants, etc. Staff were so friendly, kind and rooms immaculate. All went above and beyond to give us a great time. As this was our honeymoon, this was just what we wanted! Can’t rate enough.

The staff was SUPER friendly and made our trip as comfortable as possible. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on and they were so accomodating when we were checking in and out. Highly recommend staying here!

our host was extremely helpful and friendly and very forthcoming with local knowledge and advice our room was very spacious and clean and comfortable there was a lot of selection for the breakfast and the coffee and fresh fruit was very good it was very easy to access the hotel as it is on the main city loop road therefore we didn’t need to carry our luggage up/down hundreds of stairs

although we had our own private bathroom it was across the hall and so we needed to use our room key every time we used the bathroom. for nighttime visits this was inconvenient

The amount of research I did when choosing a hotel was intensive...so let me save you the time and effort. BOOK THIS EXCEPTIONAL HOTEL...you will NOT regret it. Where to even begin? First, the location is FANTASTIC! The entrance is on the main road so you can easily unload all your luggage without hauling it upstairs ( very important in Positano ) but the balconies face the water so there is NO noise from the street. The hotel was SPOTLESS! Our room was immaculate and a great size with more than enough room for our suitcases and space to walk around comfortably. The hotel is high enough on the hill to get the infamous Positano view but not too high that it makes going to the beach unmanageable. AND THE VIEW! The view from our balcony was second to none! It was stunning ( and we were shocked that we were able to get a better balcony and view than many of the MUCH higher price points of rooms in the city ). The breakfast on the balcony each morning was superb! Fresh fruit, coffee, pastries, yogurt, granola, eggs and more brought to us at our choice of time ( between 8 and 10 am ) was a highlight of the trip. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cleaned each day with fresh towels and whatever we needed. But above all....the staff were the best we have ever had during a hotel stay! The personalized service, the way they went out of their way to book reservations for us, make personalized recommendations for us...you name it.....they went out of their way to make our stay the absolute best it could be. They even arranged all of our car services there and back from the airport and made last-minute accommodations when one of our flights was cancelled. There is not one thing I would change about this family-run gem of a hotel. Luigi, Fernando and the rest of the staff at Casa Nilde are the absolute best.

Luigi and his staff were incredible. The location is superb. The view from the rooms was absolutely stunning. Eating breakfast with that view every day was such a treat!

Loved our stay here. Luigi was spectacular and helped us get a private car from Naples to Positano. Not only was the place clean and roomy, the location was amazing. Please do note, Positano is a vertical city. Listen to Luigi when he tells you the best way to travel is the local bus. Some people are saying location was an issue but really, anywhere in Positano, location/steps are going to be a challenge. WHEN I come back, I will certainly be staying again at Casa Nilde... Gave only a four star on the beds. Us Americans like our beds softer but we found that all beds in Italy and Greece to be on the firmer side. Not a dig on this hotel but a general note. Oh, and the breakfast... perfecto!
