Pay for a room with a sea view, go for the rooms on the upper floor, rooms 10/11/12/13/14, the view is worth the extra money

Very friendly staff, always helpful.. Our dog was most welcome. Excellent dog walking beach very close by. Comfortable rooms, tastfully furnished and functional. Good mattresses in the bed. We slept very well. Beautiful views across the Kiel Fjord, interesting to watch all kinds of different boats go past including cruise ships, ferries to and from Scandinavia and the Baltic Countries, but also freighters and commercial traffic.
Would love to come again and definitly will.

no fridge in room, no service at front desk in the evening

Everything was fine. The room was clean and big. Breakfast was wonderful.

The friendly, personal service in the dining room
a hop on hop off little train along the Strand Strasse would hve been a big help. We are 80 years old! Suggest it to the city!
