Amazing view of Depoe Bay. Overall, we had a good time. The location is great and we were able to get some glimpses of the whales. The only issue we had was the stove did not work properly. The stove needs to be replaced. If you plan on cooking, you may want to check to see if stove has been repaired/replaced.

The location was perfect. The upstairs Master Bedroom has the best view! It was so nice having a fireplace to cozy up. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. I could go on and one. If you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and have amazing ocean views this is for you!🌺🌺🌺

For a spur of the moment, one night trip, it was awesome! The Townhouse was clean, well kept, and beautiful. The day time traffic kind of overpowered the sound of the waves, but once night set in, it was perfect! It was my first time staying here but I would definitely book it again!

The view is fantastic. Upon entering the condo the laminate flooring had suffered significant water damage and was missing the top smooth layer, the floor was spongy with runners laying on it. The listing stated “new hardwood floors” which was very misleading. There was mouse poison on the counter next to the microwave and more next to the fridge. That seemed odd. The front living room blind was broken and wouldn’t close. It felt like being in a fishbowl with people out in the yard directly in front of it and not being able to close it for privacy. I let management know the first day we checked in about it and they asked if they had permission to enter the next day which I gave, but they didn’t arrive. After more texts, they did arrive our final night with a new blind that we were able to close. The upstairs king bedroom overlooks the water and the view is fantastic. The second bedroom faces the parking lot. The bed in that room is two mattresses sitting on the floor with a bed frame around it to make it look like a normal bed. The bed is very low to the ground and uncomfortable. I rented a two bedroom so my daughter and I would have our own rooms, but she was so uncomfortable that she ended up sharing my room. While showering in the upstairs bathroom, water started running out of a cabinet downstairs by the fridge. I contacted the property management company immediately and they said they would put in a maintenance request. The heat makes a really loud “bang” if above 65

We had a great time watching the ocean in Depoe Bay! The spot had a great view, easy kitchen and access to the coastline and town.

The condo did have great views of the ocean and harbor of Depoe Bay, especially the bedroom upstairs, truly incredible views. However the entire property needs a good deep clean, felt dusty and cobwebby, and the surfaces weren’t wiped down.
The check out process included extra cleaning from us which I haven’t seen most other rental properties and for the $121 cleaning fee that was included in the booking I felt like it wasn’t up to expectations.

We very much enjoyed our stay there. The views of the ocean were spectacular. The condo was well appointed and comfortable. It was walking distance to just about everything which is also great. We had a couple of minor criticisms, neither of the burners on the stove worked, but we contacted management, and they had maintenance come over later that day, and fixed it, which was great. The only other minor criticism was that exhaust fan in the ground level. Bathroom didn’t work. All and all it was a great stay.

Well-maintained. Family home. We were 2 couples and were able to make small meals and enjoy them together in a relaxing space. All details are accurate. Saw a pod of grey whales on our first day from the upstairs window.

Overall the house worked well for our short stay for a Fishing Charter. The kitchen has clearly flooded and all the floors are spongey/very badly damaged. The living area was WONDERFUL though with the gas fireplace and great views. Master bedroom has fantastic views as well. The property just needs some maintenance and updating.

Other than the stovetop not working (the oven works, the stay was great.
Difficult to figure out the tv with so many remotes, instructions didn't help. But who cares, the view and hike down to the bay by the big tree was amazing.
Easy walk to town for fun and meals.
Comfortable bed in room with bay view, but the bed on the other side was not so great, I was told by my friend.

Great view and wonderful location. However, lots wrong that should be fixed. The snap-together flooring is warped and peeling up from what appears to be water damage. Carpets and rug are so stained and dirty that I wouldn’t let my 7 month old crawl on the floor. Stove top is broken but they haven’t replaced the appliance- a review a month ago said it was broken, there is a note on the stove stating that they’re “getting it fixed” but I doubt that’s the case. Super disappointing! Found an electric skillet in the cupboard but did not work the same for preparing meals. Pillows in master bedroom stink! So gross!

Dishwasher not working, stove not working, bed in second bed room terrible. Kitchen floor dangerous falling apart. Ants in the kitchen area. Had to eat out for are meals because the kitchen was not usable.

We did not stay here so I'm surprised I was reviewed as a guest
I was so excited to come to Depoe Bay, but unfortunately we were notified by Meredith Lodging that we couldn't go to the property at Depoe Bay because it was flooded. We were so sad, but Meredith did provide us with a beautiful alternative. We will definitely try Depoe Bay in the future. We stayed at Captains Cottage in Pacific Coty and had lovely accommodations and enjoyed our stay.

GIRL'S GETAWAY
Easy access with parking. This lower unit is quiet and faces the cove. The better view is from the upstairs master. This suite with a king bed is very comfortable. The second bedroom faces the side street. The full bed in this room is most uncomfortable and would add value to the unit if it was replaced. With the full bathrooms upstairs, the half-bath downstairs is a plus. Access to the caves in the cove at low tide and the path to the oceanfront at the end of the street provided outings and photo opportunities. The layout of the living and kitchen areas would be better for four rather than six adults. Overall it was a pleasant and safe stay. With minor upgrades it could be a great stay.

"a piece of heaven"
The interior had many lovely items that we enjoyed it was more personal than most condos. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to create several feasts. we brought our own chairs to sit outside, out of the wind. The view was perfect to watch whales and enjoy the sound of the ocean. In my opinion to bring Whales Song up a notch would be to edit some of the furniture in living room. The sectional is ready for replacement (springs) looks better than it feels, but we enjoyed lounging on it anyway. Thank you for the experience I would recommend this property. Judith

nice beach house but need some repair work.
Very nice location with great parking and beach access. Not all the stove burners work, dishwasher has a broken handle. Some ants were visiting along with us. Great bedrooms with a wonderful view in the master room.

Whales Song in Depoe Bay, Oregon
This is a lovely home in a quiet area with a beautiful ocean view. The house has two bedrooms upstairs, each with their own bath. The living room is where we spent most of our time. There is a gas fireplace, large TV and a great view of the ocean. Very comfortable! The property managers were wonderful. I would highly recommend the Whales Song.

Bayfront Beauty
There is something so magical about having nothing but a bit of lawn between your living room and a roiling bay.
The accommodations were comfortable with lots of places to lounge in the common areas, and very comfortable sleeping arrangements.
This is my second time at this property. My friends were quite excited to hear that I was booking the place for the second time, so it's a universal joy!

the view was nice.......
The location provides nice views , the unit is 2 stories, attached to the neighbors, the unexpected piece was there is a 3rd story over the main bedroom on the 2nd floor which is also part of the neighbors. The place was not as clean as we expected especially for the premium charged due to Covid (Basic stuff -dust on blinds, soap from previous tenant still in shower/ for the plus we would have expected the smell of disinfectants as we arrived which was minutes after the cleaning team - perhaps they use odorless product - main surfaces were clean). The neighborhood was nice - a few viewpoints and trail steps away- we saw seals & whales, a good coffee shop a 5 min walk away. For a short term stay, all the fees worked out to be as much as the 3 night stay - making it not the most economical option in hindsight for a short term getaway.

Amazing view and great location!
Nearly perfect. Well furnished with an eclectic style, nice and roomy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. I will agree with other reviews that the bed in the second bedroom is not great. I wouldn't call it as bad as some but it is very firm. This is the one thing that keeps it from being perfect but it would not keep me from coming back because we enjoyed it so much. Also had a few issues with the Wifi. There was a wrong password for the one that seemed to be most available. I was able to plug in directly with an Ethernet cable.
Loved the view. We lucked out with great weather but would be just as great otherwise because it would provide a cozy environment with a great place to watch storms. Also the location is centrally located and it is an easy walk into town.
Only a couple of blocks from Tidal Raves which had great food and terrific cocktails.
Really hope they change out the 2nd bed. Then it would absolutely be perfect.

The view was worth the price.
The property was nice, easy to find and parking was not an issue. The view is wonderful. The two burners on the stove were uneven making cooking a little difficult because the oil would go to the one side that was downhill. The sleigh bed was a nice piece but totally unusable due to the mattress being what appeared to be original. It was too hard to sleep on. I was afraid to sit on the rocking chair as I didn’t want to rip the fabric any more than it was. The switch for the fan on the fireplace was in position but it appeared to not be working. The fire was pretty to look at but didn’t seem efficient. I found the smoke alarm in the basket on top of the refrigerator with no battery. Friday and Saturday nights we could hear the people talking either next to us or above us. Luckily I was able to fall asleep fairly quick. Lastly, maybe some insulation around the front door. Cold air was coming in and it rattled and moved when the wind blew. This was our first experience with VRBO. We will definitely do more research and read reviews on the properties before we book again.

Great property with a beautiful view and close to everything yet far enough away to make it a relaxing stay. We enjoyed our stay at this property and would recommend to whomever is looking for a relaxing stay at the beach!

Lovely Condo
Loved the condo. The master bedroom is wonderful. Saw lots of Whales. It was very comfortable and clean. We had a problem with the TV and they responded within 30 minutes.
Unfortunately, the bed in the second bedroom is impossible to use. It is in dire need of a different mattress. Had to take one star off because of the bed in the second bedroom. Would definitely return, if mattress was replaced.
