Beautiful Location…Lovely Apartment…Comfortable Bed…Soundproof Windows.

The directions how to get there!☹️ We were told to go up the hill when we got off the train…and when we see the castle we would be at our destination. Problem: There are two steep hills…and you cannot see the castle from the station. We got lost. We called…and the person said, “Walk up to the gate and wait… Mario would be right there to show us to the Apartment.” We didn’t mind except we were standing there(tired)with suitcases for 20 minutes and had to call again. Finally, he came and took us up another road. We would have never found it on our own. The next day…we found out there was an elevator from the train station straight up to the road near the Apartment!! I write this hoping the directions are stated more clearly for other guests.

Wow! What a great place. Mario was an exceptional host,making sure everything was right. Nice place to stretch out and relax. Kitchen was equipped well enough to prepare our own meals. There are multiple stores to purchase food. You can eat out as well for cheap. There is a vegetarian place close by, Britta, the was excellent. Bed comfortable. Beautiful view I could stare at all day. Laundromat close by. Put the dryer on high temp to fully dry and go in the afternoon when it is not as busy. You are able to visit the rest of cinque terre easily from this town. I loved being immersed in the Italian culture here.

The climb up was quite the workout. If you have health problems it may not be for you.

Had the most wonderful stay here. Mario was such a sweet and attentive Host. He explained the abouts of Cinque Terre and made sure we knew how things worked around the area. The apartment was really lovely both location and facilities wise. It was stocked with breakfast essentials, water and a complimentary local wine. On the first night we had a bottle of beer, Mario made sure it was restocked again the very next day. Even beach towels were provided. It was a 15/10 place to stay!

Beautiful apartment in an amazing location. Amazing view of the sea and village from the windows. Very responsive hosts who made us feel extremely welcome and had left us lots of food and drinks (and even came to the apartment on the 2nd evening to bring us more drinks) free of charge! He also gave us lots of useful information about the local area and as extremely accommodating! Highly recommend, thank you for having us!

Excellent view with an excellent host. 10 minute walk to center. We appreciated the coffee and snacks left for us.

Staying at this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Our host Mario was a very nice fellow who took the time to answer our questions and help us understand the local situation. The apartment was spotlessly clean and all of the equipment functioned well. The view from the kitchen/living area is wonderful with the fresh sea breeze blowing in, it made a fantastic, bright, spacious place to chill during our visit. Mario left us with an array of food and drink which is nice because as you will find Cinque Terre grocery stores are tiny and open for limited hours. We cooked up a delicious pasta dish in the kitchen and made a few other meals there. We would like to return and visit again.

The location is stunning. Mario was very nice and the amount of food that was left for us free of charge was amazing. I cannot recommend staying here highly enough. Close enough to the station and shops but not in a busy area with lots of through traffic. Perfect.

There is nothing I didn't like about the apartment

Great location. Mario was very helpful and welcoming, he helped us with the luggage the whole way to and from the train station. He also filled the refridgerator with many beverages and drinks. There was also some croissants and bread

If I could give this apartment 20 stars, i would! The host Mario is the nicest host we've ever met! He would go ALL OUT, i mean ALL OUT to help you, to make your stay comfortable. We had a small misunderstanding regarding parking initially, but that was quickly resolved. The flat is super clean, the fridge was stocked with water/milk/brioche/wine/beer upon our arrival! This is a massive bonus given resources could be scarce in Cinque Terre. We will be back Mario, see you!

Clean, open, and more than accommodating! Short elevator ride and walk to Riomaggiore train station. Mario was very helpful as well!

Nothing it was perfect!

If you want to have a cozy and warm feeling staying, then Giovanna is one of the best place you should chose. The owner Mario is so friendly and kind. He picked us up from the public park place, helped carry our luggages to the apartment. The apartment itself is spotless clean, with great view of the village and the ocean. It’s east access to the village center and train station where you can take the train to visit the rest 4 village. My boyfriend and I are super happy about the staying, we will definitely come back next year !
