You truly cannot beat the location!
This hotel needs a massive overhaul. We’ve been staying here consistently for the last four summers, and every summer it gets worse… our room was dirty, huge stains on the rug. The tea kettle had mold in it, there were massive cobwebs in the drapes, the AC has been out for two years now. The fish tank in the lobby is dark, dank and depressing—free those animals and get rid of that nasty eyesore! This is the first year I was hesitant to eat at the restaurant because I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.
I love this hotel and this beach and would LOVE to see the hotel restored to its former glory! This year was probably our last stay until that happens.

Nice 4-star hotel with excellent bathroom and shower and nice decor. It is located right on a beautiful surfing beach, a coupe of kilometres out of Santona on the Camino de Santiago.
The car parking charges quoted were very high and there seems to be some sort of issue with parking (even on empty, apparently unrestricted streets) close to the hotel.

You really cannot beat the views and the location! We loved going downstairs and having a coffee everyday, it was great to have that in house.
The property currently has no AC, so sleeping was pretty uncomfortable. The hair dryer in our room didn’t work, the mini fridge didn’t really work either. The whole hotel just needs some love and updating, also the lobster tank downstairs is dark, dirty and sad :(

The hotel was located facing the beach which was very clean and not very busy. The hotel is about 2km from Santona which is where the restaurants / bars are all located. We ate out both nights and there was a good choice available.
Santona is the anchovy capital of Spain so it was interesting seeing the harbour & fishing boats.
The hotels own charges for dinner and breakfast seemed high to us compared to other hotels we had stayed in our our 3 week touring holiday.

We stayed in a room with a terrace. It had amazing views and the bed was facing the views too. We loved it and will go back.
It did not have a do not disturb sign and they had mandatory mask signs all over , even though is not mandatory anymore. Wish they would remove them.

It's location right on the beach looking and listening to the ocean, just gorgeous. It also has the greenery around the area with lots of lovely walks and hiking. Wish we could have stayed longer !!
