Excellent location for visiting the ruins, five minutes on foot to the entrance. The area itself is not so nice though, we walked 15-30 minutes to get to nice restaurants in the evenings. It is not shady in any way, just not the most beautiful or lively part of the town. Lina was super nice and welcoming, and solved any issues we had immediately. Comfortable beds, easy parking right outside the apartment, and newly renovated bathroom.

Terrace was facing the parking and there was funny smell coming from somewhere near. Outside furniture was broken and had no cushions, it could be so much nicer with just a little bit of tlc. That said, we still appreciated having that outdoor space. We had thousands of ants in the kitchen one day, but Lina solved the issue right away. The kitchen ware was not really suited for having any type of meal, not even breakfast, and the fridge was tiny.

Staff tried to charge me the full price again in cash, even though I’d paid the full price online. Poor communication.

Close to Pompeii and extremely spacious - great value! The place includes a kitchen, bathroom, large living room with a TV, a bedroom, and a patio if you like to sit outside. The kitchen is stocked with utensils so you can cook. The location is a short walk to Pompeii, and has several restaurant along the way. When checking-in we got some recommendations and the host was able to answer our questions about the area.

The room was okay. Staff seemed nice initially.

The walk is long, bumpy and hilly from the train and archeological site. On a map it looks close but in the heat it’s quite a long walk with luggage when other comparable priced hotels are right at the station. Bed was hard/creaky and made from pallets. No window in the room (except via the door). We wanted luggage stored until we finished a tour at 1pm and staff initially said they’d be able to wait but then said we had to pay the full amount of additional 6hr storage. We had to pay €10 for the extra 40min of holding luggage even though we were able to give them 3hrs notice of the bus delay and the €10 was the usual price to hold until 7pm. We then ran back to the hotel as she was messaging us to hurry back which is unfair given we paid €10 for the time. Hotel Zeus for example was a similar price, located at the train station, includes breakfast and free luggage store, I’d stay there next time.

Electric plugs were a problem. There was no tea/coffee making facilities.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much to like, it was just ok. Neither bad nor good. The bed is large and comfortable, the apartment had shampoo and soap. Special thanks to Lina for calling a taxi and informing about the bike tour (Giro d'Italia).

The apartments are 20 minutes walk from the center, we did not find buses. Calling a taxi is difficult as there are no apps and phone numbers (hard to find). There is nothing to see in this part of the city. To Auchan on foot 15-20 minutes, there are small shops nearby. The apartments need to be restored, everything is very outdated. The chairs in the kitchen are broken, a lot of dust on decor items. The noise from the street was heard in the bedroom, every 15 minutes. There is no normal beach in this city, the nearest beach is far away and covered with trash, it is not very comfortable.

It was comfortable and clean

The facilities were limited for what we needed, however for a place to stay for a short period, it was fine.
