Nice location near the beach and the center of the village

Even though it’s not the property fault, it’s important to understand that the apartment is above a restaurant, you can’t open the windows because the smell of fried food is very intense, because of the exhaust of the kitchen. Very noisy until very late, in our case, until 2 am. The apartment doesn’t have comfort in mind, no AC, the windows are old and thin that the sound gets through easily, all the bathroom looks and feels old, the bed is hard and not comfortable to sleep, when we arrived it smelled like old kitchen (because of the restaurant), there’s no table to eat on the apartment, only on the balcony but it’s not nice because of the smell. You can hear the noise from other neighbors in the building. For the price that we paid, it’s the worst experience I’ve had in all the booking reservations I’ve made, to expensive. You are paying for the location and nothing more.

Location was excellent and we could see the ocean from our balcony. There was a public parking area very close by, which was convenient. The kitchen area was well equipped with dishes, cutlery, kettle, etc.

The couch / sofa bed in the living room was really uncomfortable, so you couldn't really sit on it at all. One of the two pillows was not exactly a pillow, more like a collection of foam pieces.

We stayed at the Ribeira d'Ilhas apartment on the third floor. It's small but comfy and clean, great for a couple. The balcony with the ocean view is simply amazing! We really enjoyed having breakfast there. The location is superb, right by Praia da Sul (which I personally like a lot). It's a quiet neighbourhood and yet it's close to the city centre. There's a brunch place and a restaurant downstairs, plus a must-visit Balagan cafe right on the beach.

There was just one spoon and one fork in the kitchen (while the other utensils were plenty). We figured it out but it would be nice to have some more cutlery for convenience. Also, a drying rack would be helpful as the one on the balcony was gone. The twin beds are not best if you wanna cuddle but overall managable :) And the bathroom door didn't lock (again, not a problem for a couple but fyi). But these are just small things that were not critical for a short stay but could make the overall great experience even better.

Beachfront window. Perfect for surfing Praia Sul. Steps away for the old town with restaurants and shops.

Can get a little noisy at night. We like to sleep really early and movement of people and cars stayed until late. Windows are single glass so also not helping to block noise or light.

Location was superb right in town and beside the BEACH. Staff did fix the issue when reported a few times.

The room was damp and also the bathroom had a severe smell of sewarage. After complaining though staff did move us to another apartment which was better. None of the tvs worked in either apartment

The bathroom and the floors could have been a bit cleaner. They probably need a good deep clean. The beds and the towels were very clean which was very welcome.

Location was superb ,condition of the property was tired and I need of some maintenance,maily a fresh coat of paint on woodwork and walls would make the world of a difference,and it wouldn't cost a lot at all.

Very good location and view amaising from the windows. View of the ocean and the beach, you can watch surfing spot directly from the apartment. The city center is a 5-minute walk away.

There was a strong smell from the sewer, not only in the toilet, but throughout the apartment. It really spoiled the overall impression. The apartment needs renovation. Windows don't close well. It was cold enough in the apartment, although heaters helped in the bedroom.

The service was bad. The woman who’s responsible never answer and didn’t seem to care so much. The apartment had HORRIBLE smell. We couldn’t stay in the apartment because of the smell. Electricity kept shutting down when using the stove. We were in the last floor and no elevator. Two separate beds, so not so comfortable for couples. TV is tiny and didn’t work. They gave us only 2 toilet papers even though we stayed for 4 nights. Bottom line - not recommended at all especially not in this price.

Terrible un clean apartment.Entrance to apartment was an area similar to public toilet facilities. dirty laminate flooring throughout apartment. Thick dust on skirting boards which proved the place was not cleaned or dusted in weeks. Noise at night from young surfers outside the building until 4 am Avoid this place at all costs

Property’ location is pretty good, walking distance from both the beach and the town.

The apartment was on the 4th floor and there was no elevator. The bathroom had a horrible smell, that couldn’t go away- super humid! We stayed for 4 nights and they gave us 2 small single use gel/shampoo. The overall apartment had a bad smell and not a single disinfectant to spray ourselves at least.
