Jane’s condo is simply perfection! We have stayed in VRBOs around the world but this one really stood out. We kept saying to each other “this is so magical” throughout the stay. The views are out of this world and the condo is exceptionally well-stocked. We would highly recommend a stay here and can’t wait to return! Thank you for such an amazing stay!

We stayed at Jane's property during our kids' school vacation week. It really exceeded our expectations. The localization was amazing. The beach was quiet and very private. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool for a change. It was close to restaurants and 7 Mile Beach. The condo was great. We loved that it had everything that we needed. It was really well equipped with plenty of towels, even beach towels and beach toys for the kids to play with. We were able to see most of the Grand Cayman, snorkel and dive. The Cristal Caves were beautiful, especially the one with a lake inside. We also saw Botanical Garden and went to the Starfish Point and did the Bioluminescent Bay swimming, which was amazing. Jane was very helpful and accommodating. We really hope to return here in the future. This is was such a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Thank you, Jane!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Beachbum. The location is great if you want to be away from crowds and the views are amazing! Loved the Cayman Islands and Jane was absolutely wonderful....great communication and lots of great suggestions for things to do and see on the island!

Our stay was perfection. The condo was in a quiet neighborhood with amazing amenities including a beautiful, well-kept pool and serene beach. Jane was also a wonderful host who was always prompt to respond and quick with recommendations for restaurants/activities. Highly recommend it for a family getaway or if you're looking to unwind.

This is a wonderful condo! We’ll maintained, comfortable furnishings, all kinds of beach toys and chairs, views from all windows and porches, steps from sand! The location is convenient with a rental car. Only a quick drive to seven mile beach. Only thing to know is that the beach is great for sunbathing but not swimming-use the pool! You’ll find the water to be filled with vegetation and not pleasing to swim in. Overall I’d stay again at this property.

My family loves to travel! We have traveled to many different places and we always stick to our one "travel rule", which is that we will never go to the same place twice. Our thought is that there are too many awesome places to see in this world. Unfortunately, Grand Cayman Island made us break that family rule. This was the one trip where we ALL said "we're coming back here ASAP!!" Grand Cayman Island is a SLICE. OF. HEAVEN. Villa Pappagallo was a fantastic property. We were in villa #25, which is the second closest villa to the water. Each room (living room, eating area and both bedrooms) have walk out patios with absolutely STUNNING views of the ocean/beach. We spent MANY nights on those porches, along with a bottle (or two) of wine. My husband, who is a self proclaimed loner, loved the location of the villa because it is very quiet. Although there are 35 (or so) villas on the property, you really do feel like you're by yourself. Even with a full parking lot, we probably only saw 3 or 4 other couples the entire time we were there. The property is about 10 (or so) miles from 7 mile beach, so you will definitely want to rent a car while you're visiting. Even if you plan on just hanging out on the beach the entire visit, I still suggest renting a vehicle. In terms of property amenities, there was not a single item we needed that wasn't there. Everything you could possible want or need was available. Air conditioning, washer/dryer, dishwasher, beach "toys", towels, dishes, iron, etc. You need it, they have it! WITHOUT HESITATION we would stay at this property again and again and again. In fact, just writing this review is getting me excited about our next trip. In other words, book the villa and don't look back :)

My Husband and I spent 10 days at Jane's Beautiful Villa, we had a wonderful time staying in this lovely slice of paradise. Beautiful views from 4 patios, just steps from the beach and the pool. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for drinks and cooking. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend this to anyone who does not need the hustle and bustle of seven-mile beach. We loved venturing out to our favorite restaurants and beaches to snorkel and explore. Jane was very prompt in replying to all needs. Everything was seamless from check in to check out- we will return, we loved it.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. Unit was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Owners were accommodating and property was beautiful and well cared for. Amazing restaurant right across the street!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Villas Pappagallo in the West Bay area. The property is beautiful and well maintained - and right on the beach. It is a quiet area of Grand Cayman without the traffic and craziness of some areas. But all the amenities you would want are nearby - great restaurants, grocery and liquor stores, fun things to do. Great snorkeling off the pier, shelling on the beach, horseback riding or kite surfing a short walk down the road. Or you can just sit at the beach or pool and relax. The sound of the ocean at night was really beautiful and relaxing. Great restaurant is right across the street - Pappagallos. Condo was beautiful inside and out. Hosts were friendly and easy to deal with. We look forward to another trip!

We have been visiting Cayman for numerous years. This villa is absolutely beautiful, everything needed is in the home. Internet on the beach isn't great, but it really isn't good anywhere on the island unless you are in your villa, hotel, etc. I have to say that I don't know what mattresses they have but they are THE BEST OF ANYWHERE I'VE TRAVELED IN THE WORLD! We haven't slept as good since we've been home, really miss those beds! Everyone friendly and the owners fabulous to work with. Prompt replies and answer all questions, wonderful suggestions. Our villa was amazing, making our trip the best ever!! The location was perfect for our family being close to anything we wanted to do, yet far away from all the crowds when we wanted to just relax in the tranquility of the villas’ beech or pool. The villa has everything you need - great views, incredible sunsets, comforts of a fully stocked home, modern appliances, beech towels, etc. The owners were amazing with tips, ensuring the villa was spotless, and confirming logistics well in advance of our arrival. Our family all agreed it was the best place we have stayed on a vacation because it felt like home, we didn’t want to leave! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We loved our week in Villa Pappagallo #10. The setting is idyllic! Far from the crowds of 7 Mile beach and perfect for a full day of quiet, reading and long walks on the beach. On our daily stroll, we would customarily cross cross with lines of horseback riders going to “swim with the horses” on the nearby sandbar, kite surfers catching the winds in that same cove, etc. Having a rental car made grocery shopping and dinners out easy and we usually ate at home ( a well outfitted kitchen there) for breakfast and lunch and treated ourselves to nice dinners each night. Enjoyed some great activities... swimming with stingrays and a sunset sail via catamaran nearby. Condo is lovely with views of the water from 3 different balconies. Only wish was for some real furniture on these balconiesz Odd, Old chairs and no side tables made it challenging to enjoy the bedroom balconies. All in all a fabulous week. Jane was responsive to questions and needs. The mostly light breeze around conch point made it possible to stay on the beach all day, which was not true on 7 mile Beach. Thxfor a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at #10. The apartment offers everything you might need. The owner was very helpful. We loved the location. Short drive to many great restaurants, supermarket, yacht club and 7 mile beach. The lady that greeted us upon arrival was very friendly and the apartment very clean. Perfect vacation! The villa is awesome, feels like home, imaculate and stocked with all the amenities of home. Location is out of this world; close enough to everything but yet out of the way for peace and tranquility. The beach and pool are private and pristine. Four of us did a lot of diving and we had plenty of room for all our equipment. Jane thanks for a perfect week. We will definitely be returning.

Stephon of Saturday Night Live... favorite quote when reviewing a new night club in NYC is "This place has everything"... and indeed this Pappagallo property had everything. Best appointed rental we have ever done. We were in Cayman to dive.... and dive we did. Pappagallo was perfect for us as we dove with DIVE TECH at Lighthouse Point which was only a 6 minute drive away. With the new Esterley Tibbetts Highway, the airport and Georgetown are 10-15 minutes away. 7 Mile Beach area about 8 minutes away where some fine restaurant are located. Pappagallo again good for us as we were avoiding any association with the Cruise Ships that were always in Georgetown.... we were "far from the madding crowd". We chose to eat in breakfast everyday ( Fosters Supermarket was 7 minutes away ), lunch most days were sandwiches, and had pasta one night, hot dogs and hamburgers one night ( grill worked fine), and dinners out @ Cafe 43(Mexican .... great margaritas), West Bay Diner ( OK ), Heritage was really good and cheap for Cayman.... take your own beer or wine... no corkage fee, and fish was fresh and wonderful, and last night we splurged and ate at Pappagallo's across the street. Again.... the unit had wi-fi that worked, reading glasses, all sorts of computer games, more kitchen tools than we have at home,,,, etc, etc. We did snorkel a bit off the beach. 50 yards to the left side of the pier about 50 yards out was where we did "OK". Cemetary beach at the very north end of 7 mile beach is the place to snorkel. Park across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful beach! It was a little windy for the few first days we were there, so we went to cemetery beach which is not far and has a nice little reef to explore if you have your own snorkel gear. FYI, the reef is marked by an orange buoy! Lots of great restaurants! Never made it to Pappagallo's, but the Calypso Grill was outstanding! All food on the island was amazing! My husband scuba dives and had three outstanding dives during our stay! Will definitely go back!

Jane was very accessible throughout the experience. She quickly responded and was super understanding when I contacted her to let her know we had some issues with our passports. Can't wait to stay and enjoy the beautiful villa soon.

Great, spacious location with views of the water. We thought we would relax in this beautiful scene but every day we ended up doing excursions and snorkeling at spots all over the island. That said, it was a perfect place for us to recharge every night with all the needed amenities. We could have stayed a couple of days and relaxed here which would have been nice.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Villa Pappagalo. We were in the larger condo on this listing. The villa property is nocely maintained and has a nice pool area. The condo itself is nicely furnished. They have everything you need. This is not a bare bones rental. There r paper products to get you started, shampoos and soaps, basic spices, pool toys, etc. It is like staying in a home. Very welcoming. The views from the patios are very nice. Our only complaint was the wind. We had 4 windy days so we never got to snorkel off the dock. We ended up going to 7 mile or the south side or rum point on these days. If the wind had not been so strong we would have enjoyed staying at the property more. We did not want a big resort and all that comes with that. Pappagalo is a short drive to tge north end of Seven Mile Beach. Also the folks who own and run this listing are very kind. Very helpful with questions. Just there to help where needed.

Villa Pappagallo #10 was very good for us. We travelled with three children (15, 12 years and 8 months). The older boys shared a room, and the baby had a packnplay that was provided in our room. When the older two fell out (which happens a few times a day :)), one of them happily slept on an air bed in the living room downstairs. The only thing I would say is that the stairs from the front door into the property are very steep and long, certainly not good for anyone "infirm" as suggested in the property details on HomeAway - schlepping the baby up and down was a little painful (and the worry of him making it down those stairs on his own scared me, the stair gates were not safe enough so we just had to keep an eye on him all the time). The property is well stocked with cutlery, crockery, appliances, anything you could ask for, I really did not miss anything during the 7 days. Plus toys, games, beach towels, mats etc - we were able to travel light, which was great coming in from the UK. The location was excellent for us, it is very quiet and a little remote, which I wanted, but the fact that the beach can be reached in 12 seconds flat (and that is me carrying bags and a sun tent, seven towels and the baby) and you have off beach snorkelling can't be beaten. Snorkelling off the pier was fantastic, even with a nosy barracuda poking about (kids loved that fact!), there were lots of fishes and a sea turtle, too. The pool was clean and very quiet, the kids, including the baby, loved it. You need to get a car to get around, but food shopping, some restaurants, 7MB, George Town and its amenities are only about 10-15 minutes away, the airport was less than 30 minutes, Rum Point probably took us 45 minutes, so no terrible distances at all and with the scenery you don't really mind. What struck me mostly about GC was the cleanliness, I kept calling it the Swiss Caribbean. The property was very clean, restaurants, toilets, etc, all spotless - I was never put out, even in the busy places. But the best thing have to be the people, so friendly and helpful. Staff at the property really went out of their way to make sure we were happy, locals, residents and guests were always ready for a chat. There was a couple of things that I will mention to Jane that I feel need to get fixed in the property, but they are so minor that I will not get into details here. So, overall we loved it and we would go back!

Wonderful property. Owner communication was great. Had trouble with turning on a light and owner emailed us back. We wish there was a warm hot tub, we thought that was lacking but the finishes in the condo and the location are superb!!

The property was clean and well maintained (which is my number one criteria!). Being secluded but close to restaurants and SMB was a plus. There are a lot of stairs to climb. One set going into the unit and another leading to the bathrooms and bedrooms. The beds in this unit were extremely comfortable! Although this is a great unit, this unit would not be suitable for someone who has difficulty climbing stairs. The grounds at villas Pappagallo are immaculately kept. The beach was raked once during our stay. The ocean close to the beach is very grassy. If you want to swim/snorkel you must go off the end of the pier. There are a few loung chairs on the beach for comfort! The unit also had beach chairs and coolers available that we could take when visiting the public beaches around the island! The community trash area is located in the parking lot and by the end of the week it smelled horrible, I am guessing the trash truck only comes once a week! Unfortunately, you have to walk by the community trash bins to get to your car. All in all it's a great place to be! Great restaurants and warn sunny skies, what more can one want! I would definitely return to Villas Pappagallo!!!

This was our 4 th trip to Grand Cayman, but the first time we didn't stay at one of the hotels on 7 mile beach. We love the West Bay location and this is the prettiest beach ever, and very private. You will need a car, but there are several great restaurants in the West Bay Area. Pappgallo' s is just across the street, Calypso Grill and Catch in Morgan's Harbor , and Cracked Conch were all great. Condo property is well kept and unit 25 is nicely decorated and has everything you need. We would definitely come back.
