Magical Cornish Cottage & Garden. Stunning Views of River Fowey & Church
Smugglers Cottage a été entièrement rénové selon des normes très élevées et dispose de deux chambres pouvant accueillir quatre personnes. Ce chalet magique bénéficie salon à aire ouverte et un jardin privé avec vue imprenable sur la rivière Fowey et la jolie ville. Pour les périodes plus froides de l'année, détendez-vous sur l'un des canapés, par la belle poêle à bois. Journaux gratuits sont inclus. Regardez la rivière et détendez-vous dans le jardin paysagé et ensoleillé, avec un petit bassin décoratif, idéal pour manger en plein air ou se détendre. La cuisine avec sa cuisinière de style gamme a tout ce dont vous avez besoin d'une maison de la maison, y compris une machine à café Nespresso. Le banc et les chaises récupérés dans la salle à manger est l'endroit idéal pour profiter des repas. Les chambres sont meublées avec de belles sommiers, matelas de luxe et 100% linge de lit en coton. Détendez-vous au balcon de Juliette dans la chambre principale et regarder les bateaux passer. Prenez le temps dans la belle salle de bains avec baignoire, douche et fonctionnalité chuté carreaux de galets de verre, il est en plus un bas toilettes supplémentaires idéalement situé. Smugglers Cottage est parfait pour se détendre et fournit une base idéale pour explorer cette partie très spéciale de Cornwall. Une courte promenade sur le chemin de la côte et Readymoney Cove. As soon as we arrived at Smugglers Cottage we knew we were going to have a fantastic week. The cottage has everything you need, the beds are comfortable and the views are incredible. Fowey has lots to offer, great pubs and restaurants, our favourites the Ship Inn, Havener’s and Bufala. The ice cream at Rubys was also a favourite of ours. We definitely want to come back again.

Comfortable cottage. Excellent view over the estuary and well designed small garden and nice patio to view it from. The cottage was clean and had all you needed. We found it a little cramped in the living area and the bathroom.
Highlights of our week were our several boat trips, scrumptious meals out and day trips to Eden and Heligan.

Fantastic comfortable well thought out cottage with everything you need for a great break. The garden is beautiful and the views are fantastic. The owners are also very friendly and thoughtful and all the communication was spot on. Hope to return.

This is a great little cottage. V cosy and v comfortable. V helpful owner and good feeling, wifi was good and access easy, good kitchen equipment and bedding. Some suggestions for consideration: the information book is out of date and is missing some important details eg how to operate the TV, there was no or not much cleaning, dishwashing, dishwasher, washing machine materials for long stays, no mop for floors, little material on Fowey and surrounds (eg maps, information, etc) but overall it was very good

Great little cottage in a great location, very clean and everything we needed.
Short walk to the town and beach, we had a lovely time and Ali was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again.

Lovely seaside themed cottage with amazing views and garden. Great outdoor seating on patio where we ate breakfast everyday. Lots of walks, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep

Smugglers Cottage has all you would need for a comfortable stay. Very clean and welcoming so pleased in all respects. The view from the garden is lovely and sitting outside on a sunny day is special. Fowey is very hilly so you need to be prepared for that, although there is a Town Bus which takes you around town if required.

Super correspondence with Ali. The cottage is spotless and has everything you need for a holiday . Very comfortable beds, good bathroom and well equipped kitchen .. Superb position for views, the town centre with its lovely shops and restaurant .Definitely would like to return .

Lovely, well equipped cottage which has a great patio with river views. Be prepared for a short but steep uphill climb back from the town - but this is standard in Fowey!

The garden needs attention weeding etc.
Fans are required in the bedrooms.
Blackout blinds required.
Toilet blocks in loo.
The shower is too hot unable to adjust

The property was perfect. Spotlessly clean and lovely furnishings. The owners text us to make sure we had settled in ok and if we needed anything. Would highly recommend.

A Hidden Gem
A SUMMARY IS IMPOSSIBLE. I loved everything about the cottage: its incredible views and proximity to the chiming church bells, being in the heart of Fowey and being a resident, the cosey layout of the living area, the beautiful bathroom, the simplicity and comfort of the bedrooms, the extra loo!, the recycling system of coloured bags, being near the bus stop.

Fabulous restful retreat
What a lovely quiet cosy place! We loved it. I have always loved Fowey and this home was perfectly set with lovely views and a peaceful garden. Super hosts! Very friendly and responsive! 10 out of 10!

Lovely cottage in a great location
Fowey is a great place for a holiday, and this cottage is cosy, comfortable and well equipped. It was super clean and I’m sure in the summer it’s nice to sit out on the terrace and watch the world go by down below.
You have to park the car in a nearby car park but this is the case with most places in Fowey.

A delightful cottage that's more like a home. Everything one could possibly need in a holiday property. It was one of the most comfortable holiday cottages we have ever stayed in and, of course, the views were sensational!

This is a lovely cosy
comfortable cottage. It is well situated just a 5 minute walk from cafes, shops and restaurants. Ali was great to deal with and messaged me after we arrived to check all was well. The cottage has everything you would need. We had a wonderful week of long walks and eating out. Would highly recommend!

Holiday
Me and my partner had the such a lovely time in Fowey. The cottage was so clean, cosy and we felt at home straight away. We enjoyed having a coffee outside and enjoying the beautiful views.

Absolutely Fabulous
We stayed in Smugglers Cottage for a week with our Grandson.
The cottage was beautiful, everything you could possibly need and spotlessly clean. The beds were soooo comfy. The views were magnificent forever changing and we were so lucky to see the largest Clipper berthed just in front of the cottage and the next day a cruise ship. Ali & Pete were excellent and had thought of everything to make our stay a fabulous vacation. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone for a great holiday - also so much to do in and around Fowey so hardly any driving involved which was great.

Delightful retreat
Smugglers was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Lovely views sitting on the little patio In the garden for lunch or drinks. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent. Quiet neighbourhood above the town with very comfortable beds meant we slept like logs!

Fabulous Fowey
The cottage is cosy, comfortable, very well equiiped and perfectly situated to burn off a few calories after (another) cream tea! The views of the estuary from the back bedroom are ever changing. Beware the church bell that tolls every 15mins, night and day - though I enjoyed it and slept easily with it in the background. Choose the front bedroom if you'd prefer to give this experience a miss :) We had some fantastic walks, food at Sam's on the Beach in Polkerris was a highlight. And Ali was brilliant to communicate with. Highly recommended.

Stunning location
This cottage is a little star with the most awesome pretty views over Fowey. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful offering her help and advice. We were so happy we chose Fowey as our base as it’s the prettiest village with a great range of bars and restaurants and surrounded by fab walking routes. Can’t rate it highly enough.

Fabulous views from this wonderful cottage
Spotless, well-equipped, centrally located and yet incredibly peaceful. We loved staying at Ali and Pete's cottage and found it hard to tear ourselves away from the views across the river Fowey! Recommend the 45 minute boat trip around the estuary and the Hall Walk (which uses both ferries!)

Fantastic Antidote to Lockdown!!
After far too long at home, we were a little nervous about coming out of lock down to Cornwall with out 2 teenage daughters. We shouldn't have worried. It was a pleasure to watch the town come to life. The weather was lovely, scenery spectacular and local people extremely welcoming.
The cottage was immaculate and really cosy. We loved the little garden and were fascinated by the ever changing view.
Parking was easy and convenient and we were happy to be able to get in and out of the town with minimal fuss. Looking forward to coming again.

Perfect accommodation in a perfect location
From the very beginning the whole process was very smooth and when we arrived at the accommodation we were overjoyed to see how well it matched the description and our expectations. Beautifully clean, very well appointed with great views over the water. Close to the car park and albeit a steep walk to and from the town and harbour that was to be expected and kept us fit. We fell in love with Fowey and the accommodation. We will want to return

Great cottage, centrally located for parking and shops, all you need is stamina to get up the hills.
Lovely cottage, fantastic view of The Place, church tower and river. Loved the garden for relaxing, having a cup of tea or something stronger and enjoying the views. Comfortable beds, great bathroom and kitchen area, very handy having a downstairs loo as well. Clean, cosy, nicely decorated. The only thing that let it down for me was that I found the sofas uncomfortable so couldn't spend much time relaxing watching any telly. There was a large car park just up the hill, the town with its shops, pubs, restaurants and fish and chip shop was a few minutes downhill, it took a little longer to get back up the hill but by the end of the week it was getting easier. Great location for getting to other places of interest, would recommend making the effort to go to a play at the Minak Theatre. I loved Lanhydrock (NT), the Eden Project is near by and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are always worth a visit. Being based in Fowey made it a fabulous holiday and I hope to return soon.
