And quite quietComfortable and The apartment is directly across from the Gare de Lille and is surrounded by good bars and eateries. The centre shops are very close and it is a short walk to the Gare Europe. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and, even on a busy Saturday night was quite quiet.

The biggest problem was that there was a 61 step spiral staircase to reach the apartment ! although the apartment was described as having an elevator to the upper floors. As a couple in our seventies with two suitcases we would not have chosen this apartment if we had known there was no lift. It was difficult to locate the key, which was eventually brought to a small shop. Not sure that we ever met the owner. The unit itself was somewhat basic and the bed linen was of poor quality. Perhaps it was the stair climbing that made us sleep well!

Location in Place de La Gare is really convenient to Lille most important venues or to travel out of it. I also like the view over La Place that’s a “thermometer” for Lille life. Apt has a very well set kitchen with really good quality appliances that invite to serious cooking (but lacks many kitchen utensils) for those that plan to stay for long periods and need it.

Apt is at a 2nd floor without lift and stairs are narrow. Plan no to take big/heavy luggage Some people may get bored of cleaning works each morning at the place. I was not a problem for me.

Small cozy nice looking apartment in the very center of the city. Everything is close by: the old town, the train and bus stations, the shopping mall. Really good place to stay in Lille.

- This flat is very well equipped, you can find any necessary tool to cook. - Everything was working perfectly. - I felt like "at home" during 4 weeks

- Can be sometimes noisy outside but we are in city center.

Location. Friendly host.

Room was a little dusty but still clean. Due to central location some outside noise can be heard. Steep steps to the appartment on 2nd floor not easy if you are unsteady on your feet or large luggage.
