Quaint n quirky

Breakfast supplied was poor, jams n condiments with no bread/muffins etc. Minimal butter and a few cereals with long life milk only. Dusty under one of the beds.

loved the fact that our fur baby was allowed to be with us. loved the wood fire. the property had EVERYTHING you could need and Karen was just lovely with her communication and information on the area

I particularly enjoyed the spa - we were doing a lot of walking and it helped ease out my poor muscles and tired feet. A fire at the end of the day was also great to chat over. The house is roomy.

frozen bread and little packets of condiments that were well out of date were not appealing.

The cottage was perfect for sharing with friends and was quite well situated for enjoying the area. Communication with the owner was very easy and they were very friendly and helpful during the whole process.

The glass doors and internal windows in the main bedroom and one other bedroom can let in a lot of light and noise at night time, if others are still up. The 'ensuite' bathroom was not inside the bedroom.

Extremely comfortable and cosy, very helpful owner, well set up and stocked with basics.

Lovely decorated with Old World Country Charm throughout each Room. Bright and Fresh rooms, Very classy antique furniture . No problems if the Queen wanted to drop in for a cuppa. Very Clean and Spacious Cottage for our 4 Couples weekend getaway. The wooden Fire Heater warmed the whole cottage , yes the bedrooms as well. The separate large kitchen and dining room was very handy as cooking for a group there were a few chefs in the kitchen & lots of mess. ha ha Then we could all eat in the Lovely Dining Room where the Beautiful Tea sets are displayed in the Cabinets.

So beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Oozing country charm. Everything we required was provided. A perfect base for our adventures. Fitted four couples exceptionally well. Helpful and informative host prior to our stay. Would definitely stay again.
