Beautiful building and setting in a great location. Each room was stunning and we all felt like royalty. Mr Singh, the owner, is always on hand, dedicated to providing an excellent experience for his guests. Breakfasts are plentiful and delicious all served in a courtyard filled with gorgeous trees and birdsong. Highly recommended!

We like the unique experience we had with the host and the locals, the place of stay did give us the taste of the good old Jaipur flavours

Historic place full of tradition

It’s totally overpriced. For this price you can get a room in a luxury hotel like Radisson or Hyatt for example.

Our bedroom and bathroom were excellent, as was the courtyard. The staff were very attentive and friendly. It tries to be environmentally friendly. Overall, the place has a certain charm.

The price was excessive for the facilities (especially as you have to add on the 18% tax but that's easy to miss when making the booking). You have to decide what it is you want for your money - the rooms are lovely & quirky, but no TV, no pool, the water isn't always hot, sometimes it is noisy (though we don't begrudge a wedding being able to make a bit of a racket). The food was nice, but lacking spice for this region of India (which may suit some people!). The breakfast was nice but essentially European with a small Indian component each day. The only element of choice was how to have the eggs.

The owner is the great man! His explanation really brings us back to the old-time India. India cooking class was interesting!
