I liked that the staff were helpful and friendly. The service in the hotel and the restaurant was amazing! The room was comfortable and clean. It was so good we extended our stay an extra night.

Cleanliness, the spa bath and the friendly staff. Also that the beach was within walking distance. Restaurant was good and so were the cocktails.

Nice spacious room in a great location and nice and quiet. Great shower with superb pressure and beds comfortable.

Great breakfast!
We were nearly turned away for breaky before 9am due to a private function which is NOT what you want to hear when your plane got in after midnight, you have a kid are on holiday and slept in! I would have been fuming IF we were turned away. Luckily the staff made the right choice and let us eat outside.

View from room was lovely. Room size was adequate. Bed were comfortable. Shower water pressure was really good.
There was nothing to say what I didn't like, it was a lovely place.

Location was beautiful. Food was outstanding. We had many cocktails, all were well made, tasted Devine. The most impressive part was the staff. Attentive, friendly, helpful, smiling, everything you could want. Excellent service from start to finish. Lots of outside areas to sit, eat and relax. Inside well presented, lovely and clean, air conditioned. Would go back in a heart beat.
Our room was a little outdated. Could do with a refresh, a few more pillows would of been nice. However, it was clean and the block out curtain were appreciated.

We love Ocean International it’s our home away from home. As we live in central QLD we always stay here when we need to, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It’s close to town but right on the beach and the staff are exceptional.

Room was nice. Restaurant was amazing. one of the best, if not the best in Mackay. Coffee is great!
Rooms are very comfortable and spacious, but are almost ready for an upgrade. But they are still very very good.
