Everything it was amazing

There was thought put into this rental- many utensils and basics were provided, empty cabinets left in the kitchen for unpacking, ample supplies (laundry soap, trash bags, dish soap paper towels...) for the length of our stay (which is not common). The location was great. Peaceful, easy access to amenities and bike paths, and the freeway. The layout of this home was perfect for a family setting. The two ovens were magnificent to have and will now be a staple in our rental searches.

For the expense the rental the property needs to maintain their "amenities" for the rental better. The ping pong table was in disrepair, we had to piece it back together for use, however the paddles were so old that it was difficult to play with (we specifically sought out a rental with a ping pong table). The beds are very old and worn and uncomfortable. Specifically the king bed. We were excited to use the provided bikes and have one less thing to pack but the chains were off, tires flat, and handle bars were missing the rubber protectors (all bikes needed servicing). We were able to get two up to par to ride, but the chains were in such need of oil that they kept falling off.

Essentially, the main floor is common area — a large open room using furniture groupings to divide the spaces. The furniture was comfortable. There is a large deck that wraps around the Southwest corner of the house with a hot tub in the corner. Again furniture groupings were used to create separate spaces. There is a small awning along the West side of the house which was vital during the passing rain storms to store the chairs and pads and to sit and watch the thunder & lightning. There is a garage with abundant storage for you bikes and there are bikes furnished by the owner. We parked three cars in the driveway, off the street. The property is nicely situated in a location for a reasonably short bike ride to the river side path. The passes to the recreational facilities were enjoyed but the grandchildren and their parents.

There was a master bedroom with it’s own bathroom. The other three bedrooms had to share a second bath. Fortunately, there was a third, 3/4 bath on the main floor that was a safety valve for when nature called and someone was in the 2nd floor shower.
