The location was great, very peaceful and near the pub and beach. Loved the large covered porch area. Good fixtures and fittings as in storage, mirrors, hooks, sockets etc. Well equipped kitchen.
Parking was tricky with a long estate car, but it just needed some practice!

Cottage small but well equipped
Liked electric log fire made property look homely.
Off the beaten tract good for long walks
Dark good for night sky views

Little to eat in walking distance dolphin inn only ok food but a little pretentious
40 min walk to aldeburgh to have more choice. Remember to book there as can be very busy

Lovely cottage in a lovely place, passed it many times and wanted to stay there, inside is lovely bigger than what we thought it would be.
Can't think of anything we didn't like, only we didn't know how to get around the back of the cottage to get the keys, my husband is disabled so i had to leave him in the car and had to walk past a lot of cottages to get to the back just glad it wasn't dark.

A truly delightful comfortable cottage offering peace and tranquility. Patio offered extra space, especially at night, to watch the night sky and stars. Enjoyed immensely as no street lighting installed.
Parking at rear not suitable for large vehicles.

Location good, local facilities good
Beds really not good, I slept on sofa the second night
Also shower difficult to use as bracket cracked and broken so hard to get shower head and flex to stay in position
Generally clean and well equipped but spiders everywhere
Maybe less bric a brac so easier to clean ?
A bonus was it being very quiet

This cottage was just right! The last year or so has been super stressful and this cottage break was just what the doctor ordered. Suitable for solo adventures or a couple. It was a short walk to the beach and everything you needed was at the cottage. Bliss!
There were a couple of daddy long legs around the property, but they were harmless. Also the enterance for parking is quite narrow but they can't do anything about it.

Location was good for village, lake and beach. Gardens were lovely. Shower room excellent. Cottage very clean and well equipped.
Directions for parking could have been clearer and that the key safe meant we had to go through the back garden gate rather than to the front door. TV could have been a little bigger.

Overall great getaway cottage for couples that just want to have some peace and silence away from everyone and everything. This is second time we booked it and definitelly not the last
Master bedroom bed seems slightly collapsed and some cob webs here and there were visible on th ceilings
