Lovely place , convenient & close to the town. Stayed one night as was attending a wedding. Rooms are excellent , bamboo sheets on the bed , shower is hot !!!. Coffee & tea & fireplace in guest lounge . Lovely farm setting with friendly animals. The breakfast was first class & the pumpkin bread toast something to remember . Would recommend staying here !!!

what didn’t we like! the house is absolutely beautiful, and so peaceful. So much history and charm within, from the record player to the timber furniture. We appreciated all of it. Our hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating! The breakfast was just lovely, and all of the little extras just added to the overall experience. I don’t remember ever staying somewhere so unique but with the comfort of home. We will be back, hopefully sooner rather than later!

A perfect country stay with the lovliest of hosts.

Friendly helpful hosts, well appointed, spacious, guest lounge and gardens, great breakfast.

We loved the cozy room, the comfortable bed, the freshly cooked breakfast and the calm surroundings. The bathroom was brand new 👍 Our hosts were so nice and welcoming! Thanks again ☺️

A very hearty breakfast was served each day, delicious home made bread and fresh eggs from the farm chickens.

Tea and coffee in the guest lounge was ok but a kettle and milk in the room as a choice would be good.

Hosts were friendly and very accomodating. Mike is also an excellent cook. Breakfast is fantastic

The location was perfect. Jo and Mike were very welcoming. It was lovely having outdoor space to wander and explore. Tea and Coffee facilities. Loved the log fire. Breakfast was great.

Pillows were not comfortable. PowerPoint access was difficult to get to. TV was too small for the distance from the beds. The curtains allowed too much light into the room when lights were on outside.

Semi-remote but close enough to the town for a good dining out experience. The room was private and quaint, some aspects modernised but keeping some of the original features.

Mattress too soft to my liking. All the rest was great.

Breakfast was amazing. Delicious food and lots of it. Mike even made a scumptious fruit drink as a treat. Our hosts were so friendly we felt we were family. So great to be able to enjoy the farm animals.
