I chose this property for our family vacation for the views and proximity to all the things we love to do on the North Shore and it did not disappoint!
As soon as you get out of your car you can see the glorious glimmer of the lake. The house is tastefully decorated and welcoming. Each bedroom has a restful vibe and is a quiet place to get away from the group. Enjoying coffee every morning on the wraparound porch while taking in the sounds and scenery of nature was just what I needed from this vacation and it was perfect!
Can’t wait to book another trip t!lake.

We loved our stay here and will be back. The layout was excellent for two families (note that there’s no bathroom downstairs - not a problem for kids, but possibly challenging for older folks). The kitchen was stocked incredibly well with cookware, spices, cooking oils, cling wrap, etc. easily available. Mark was fully responsive and very helpful when we were looking for extra bedding. The location gave easy proximity to Tahoe City, Granlibakken and west shore hikes. We’ll be back!

The living room is cozy and comfortable for all with view of lake and fireplace. Nine of us played games and had one nice dinner in. Walking distance to lake and West Shore Market & Deli. Close enough to Northstar. Close to Gar Woods too! Mark very easy to communicate with and accommodating!

The house had a fully supplied kitchen. All the utensils and pots and pans for preparing a family meal. Outside grill and Hot Tub worked great. Clear instructions for arrival and departure. We would definitely recommend this property

This house was absolutely perfect. What gorgeous views from this house. This house also has great parking and the access to get into the main floor of the house. It is perfect if you have someone challenged by stairs. Which we did. The host Mark was great.

We were two couples and a single, all related and in the area for a family reunion with 2 other households. Walking distance to the Sunnyside commercial establishments and the HOA beach. Comfortable common areas and a great deck with a lake view.

We stayed here for a weekend in May and were very happy with the experience. Check-in was easy, Mark was very flexible with our check out time and also answered our questions throughout the weekend. The location was perfect! It was close to everything and we even got a recommendation for a boat tour from Mark which worked out great for the group. Overall, highly recommend!

We had a fantastic week at the cabin. There was plenty of room for our group of five adults. The kitchen is well stocked and we used it to cook several meals. We enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub nearly every day. Communication was clear and quick with Mark the owner. We were even able to request an extra night at the end of the trip! Wedding weekend
Beautiful view, great location. Close to lake, shops, restaurants and not far from West Shore Cafe which is where we attended a wedding. Two large downstair bedrooms plus two bedrooms located on main floor provided plenty of space and privacy for us and 3 adult children. Cabin has everything you need. Owner, Mark, responded to all emails/questions immediately.

Great cabin!
This was our second summer staying in this wonderful cabin. Mark, the property manager, was super helpful and very welcoming. The cabin is located in a gorgeous spot and we loved sitting on the deck admiring the lake. This cabin was a perfect rental for our family and we enjoyed our stay!

Woodland Haven
The property is up off the road, giving it a secluded feeling when In actuality it is close to shops, restaurants, recreation and beach access. There are great views of the lake from the deck and living room windows and plenty of comfy seating on both the deck and in the living room.
The kitchen had everything you could need and more…plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils and glasses for our large group. We loved using the hot tub after a long day’s hike

Perfect weekend in Tahoe
Mark's cabin has it all! We were a smaller group (4 adults and 1 infant), so there was plenty of room. We used the HOA beach (pebbly, not sandy) which was very convenient and really well-maintained. We used the bbq and kitchen essentials for dinner and breakfasts. Nothing was missing! Beautiful view, plenty of parking space, big fridge. We took our recycling back with us as previous guests left so much that there wasn't room in the bear locker. Lastly, we had to move some decorative items out of the way during our stay, as we have a 1- year old, but other than that very kid friendly! Hope to return to the is perfect property!

Wow, this cabin makes you feel right at home the minute you walk in! It has everything you need, a fantastic location, a fun hot tub and awesome views of the lake from every window! The cabin is clean and comfy! we will definitely be back next summer to stay here!

Awesome Location
Great view from the deck and family room. Two families of 4 stayed very comfortably. We loved the location- close to Tahoe City, Sunnyside, wonderful HOA, close to Chambers and all the places we love in Tahoe. We really want to come back and my 22 year old and 18 year old agree! I got up every morning at 5:30 am and enjoyed the view.

Great vacation rental!

The kitchen was modern with a good size refrigerator. The cabin came with detailed instructions for all your needs. The upstairs deck was perfect for bbqing, card games and hosting the entire family. The lake view was amazing with a morning cup of coffee. Mark was detailed and pleasure to rent from. I would recommend this cabin to any family with 8-10. Thanks again mark!

Great location with great views!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location can't be beat as we were walking distance to the private beach and easy bike ride into town. The views form the deck are great and we found we spent most of our time out there! Plenty of sleeping space and nice to have a downstairs where kids can hang out, though a bathroom down there would have been nice. Owner is very responsive to any needs that arise. We'd go back again!

Great family vacation home
Our extended family of 8 had a wonderful stay at this Tahoe home. The view of the lake is incredible. The home is very well equipped. Unfortunately the downstairs rooms had a very musty smell, but it was not always noticeable . We all enjoyed the exercise we got by walking down to Sunnyside or the Tahoe House and back up. The HOA beach was also very enjoyed. Thank you, Mark for making our stay so enjoyable

Family celebration week
We selected the Lake Tahoe area for a celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary and took our family with us. This home and the area surrounding it were perfect for our week together. There was plenty of room to accommodate 5 adults and 2 children with hiking, horseback riding, rafting, coffee on the deck, steaks on the grill, time at the beach, spectacular fireworks, and easy shopping for groceries all included. The lake view from the deck was a desired objective and it was enjoyed! The well supplied kitchen made it easy to prepare casual, relaxed breakfasts. Traffic had to be considered when traveling to other sites, but once we took that into consideration, all was good. Mark was helpful and efficient in his response to any concerns or questions. This is something we really appreciate when renting. We celebrated and had a wonderful week on the shores of Lake Tahoe.

Family Thanksgiving Vacation
Our group of 7 spent a long Thanksgiving weekend at Mark's vacation home and it was a wonderful experience. The house was much more spacious than the photos convey, yet it still had a warm and cozy feeling inside. The view of the lake from the living room and kitchen is wonderful and we enjoyed each mood that was set as the light changed over the water. We were in town for Thanksgiving, so we were very happy to find that the kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and cookware. We brought a few odds and ends for the turkey, but everything you need to enjoy your stay can be found right in the house. The hot tub was clean and well kept, perfect for relaxing in day and night. With only two bathrooms, it was a bit of a stretch for our group of 7, however this wasn't a major detraction. We would definitely stay here again!
