The spa facilities.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area of Velingrad next to a forest. The food was really good although the pancakes and cake served at breakfast were sometimes stale. The room was spacious enough and the spa center had a lot of amenities. The staff was quite friendly.
Some of the spa rooms, like the salt bath, would get really crowded (9-10 people at once) even though the hotel warns guests to keep a 1.5m distance. There are also no water dispensers in a spa that claims to be worth 5 stars. We informed the hotel staff about the above but nothing changed during the rest of our stay there.

Spa area was great.
I was with my daughter, who is 12. As there were no free standard rooms, we took deluxe double 2+. Nevertheless, the room was extremely small with double bed and sofa. I cannot imagine how those people expect that 4 people can stay at this room. The price was too high for the room we got.

staff were generally nice but most of them didn’t speak English or didn’t want to speak English to my boyfriend so I had to constantly translate, it wasn’t great from his point of view

I loved the SPA area! Pools were warm, which is very nice for kids, looked clean and were the perfect depth. A lot of pools and areas both inside and outside so it didn't feel cramped even on a weekend. Staff was very helpful, quickly addressing all our needs or complains.
The villa we stayed in was very spacious and even had a fully supplied kitchen.
We stayed in a villa, separate of the main hotel building and the air conditioning was not working properly. Staff came quickly to resolve the problem, which was nice.
In any case, the weather changed the next day so it wasn't quite clear, if the AC was indeed fixed.

Spa was excellent, it has a wide choice of different massages and all of them are perfect!!! Children really enjoyed chocolate massage, it was a hit!! Villa that we got was really nice, big, clean with barbeque place and fireplace in the living room, we liked it a lot!!!
We stayed for 8 days in the hotel and the villa was not cleaned even a single time, it was not that dirty, but it was strange, we had to ask the reception to send somebody to throw the garbage at least, it was really not nice to have a full garbage bin in the kitchen. On the following days we just asked them where the disposal was and threw the garbage by ourselves, but it was annoying.

SPA area is great. There are variety of pools with hot water, also contrast pool with cold water. Herbal sauna and steam bath are also available. Food was great.
Child room is small and not good equipped. There is no option for children animation.
One of the nights was very noisy, there was a party in the restaurant and it was impossible to sleep which is unacceptable for Spa hotel.

Perfect location near the hiking trails and walking distance to downtown restaurants, amazing view and awesome sunsets. Very clean facilities, the SPA center is beyond experience, mineral water pools, tasty cuisine... Pure relax! The hotel was sold out but one could barely feel it.
At times music was missing at the main pool and one could hear other visitors' chatting but it is a matter of preference of course.

There are several pools and it doesn’t feel crowded at all although the hotel was full.
I was expecting better food. Rooms are not quite spacious.

We were extremely disappointed with the opening hours of the pool and the Spa. they close at 8pm unfortunately. they should be open at least until 10 pm. and the schedule for the spa facilities should be included in the description of the hotel.

We liked the spa, pools, the jacuzzi outside next to the forest, the food for breakfast was delicious. The staff were very helpful if we needed anything.
The shampoo and body wash in the room were not very useful. You could not wash your hair or body as it barely made any foam.
