Such a peaceful location, with super helpful, friendly hosts! Our cabin was clean and well-equipped with everything, full sized oven, heaps of cooking utensils, broom and dustpan, dish cleaning supplies and toiletries. Bed is comfy with supersoft linen and the shower head was great pressure without laser points on your skin 😆
Rain water tanks for drinking and a brilliant on-site eatery. You'll never go hungry with the menu on offer! Lots of homemade candles, soaps etc for purchase in the kiosk, delightful fragrances.
Laundry facilities are easy to find and use and there's a cool kids playground just adjacent the caravan park.
Highly recommend a stay here, you won't regret it.
We stayed during Easter long weekend, it was understandably busy. If you don't like lots of people around you, maybe choose an off peak time to stay.

Bed was comfy. No stove top. No ensuite. No hot water. Public toilets old and need painting. Sad place. Shame as Second Valley is a lovely holiday place.

It had everything I needed
Too many rules, wanted too much personal information, advertised cafe was open until 8, on arrival was informed it closed at 5, with last orders at 4.30 if I wanted Dinner. Also there was no privacy if I wanted natural light. At the end of the day it was ok, but I have had better, cheaper, elsewhere.

The cabins were quite good- exactly what you’d expect from a cabin. The beds were comfortable and clean. The area is gorgeous- with the beach being the main draw card. The outside area next to the store was a nice spot to sit.
The cabin felt rather tired. Lots of stains on the bench tops and kitchen table, but it didn’t feel it wasn’t clean as such. The wifi didn’t work at all the whole time I was there- but was able to get patches of it near the store.

As a family of 7 we loved that it was family friendly and very good budget wise.
King mattress was a little firm for my liking and one of the bunks had a bit of a squeak when the kids got in and out of bed.

The fish and chips for dinner was tasty and good value. The girl in the office was apologetic and helpful about the state of the cabin but then could only offer a smaller replacement.
Booked cabin had not been cleaned when we arrived at 4:00. Alternative that was offered was old and in need of repair. Caravan park was in a similar
state. Would stay at Normanville if catching the ferry to KI again.

Beautiful scenery the beach and surroundings were absolutely beautiful..the kiosk and staff were great.
The cleanliness of the cabin was quite disturbing. The bathroom was quite dirty it was awful to be honest. Mould in some of the cups provided and the fry pan was unusable due to being 100 years old and burnt. The screen door didnt shut properly. Many little black moths flying around the cabin and a very bad smell throughout.

The cabin my husband & I stayed in is situated in a beautiful location in the Second Valley Caravan Park. It is a short stroll to the Second Valley Jetty.
There was very limited cooking utensils, there is the need for a better fry pan, a spatula etc.
