Bright, spacious, comfortable and with a lovely view. Jean and Lilian were very welcoming and provided us with a delicious breakfast. They sent us away with the breakfast cake we hadn’t eaten too!

For anyone looking for a stay near Aix-en-Provence it is impossible to do better than Lousoan. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, the room is excellent and the bed very comfortable, whilst the breakfast is superb. I hope to be able to stay again next time I am in Aix. I cannot recommend Lousoan too highly.

The hosts were absolutely lovely! Lillian and Jean were very accommodating and friendly. We felt so at home and loved getting to know them and their adorable Maltese. The breakfasts were incredible with home made cakes and jams and freshly brewed coffee. The room was super comfortable, clean and spacious.

The hosts were so very lovely and sweet. Homemade baked goods and homemade jams for breakfast and they were gracious to accommodate my request for some yogurt and fruit. The bathroom was very spacious as was the bedroom and extra sitting room. Everything was so clean as well. We loved the fact that is was away from the city center, but it was only a few minutes away by car.

Our stay was at Lousoan bed and breakfast was perfect, it had everything we needed - a spacious accommodations ( a large bedroom, spacious bathroom and an additional sitting room with a selection of tea/coffee), it is in a close proximity to Aix old city district, has great parking, wifi and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty (French style) and the hosts are very nice, caring and welcoming people that speak perfect English.

This is a private room with en-suite in a beautiful house outside of Aix-en-Provence. Location is great: a lovely quiet neighbourhood about 30min walk from the centre of Aix, and only a short walk from Cezanne’s studio. The room was large, light and clean with a large bathroom. The shower-bath combo did not have a wall Mount for the hand shower so it was a bit awkward, but totally manageable. we were equipped with plenty of towels, toiletries and blankets for a comfortable stay. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and gracious! When we brought home some snacks for lunch from the Saturday market, they hurried to make sure we had everything we needed to lunch outside on the patio. The breakfast included was absolutely delicious: homemade jams, cakes, breads with the classic pastries and fruit. Everything was perfect; we highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Aix again!

The hosts were very helpful and the place was very beautiful and taken care of. Food and service were very good.

The hosts are super nice and attentive. Every morning there was delicious homemade cake. We also liked to have a chat every now and then.

We really enjoyed our 4days with home-made cakes/breads served every morning for breakfast. The best part of our stay was definitely the hosts: kind, available, made us feel so at home. Parking was free and excellent. Good wifi, huge lovely ensuite bathroom, and quiet lovely surroundings. The hosts met us right from the start and received us so kindly with very helpful suggestions. Definitely would stay again. Thank you so much!

Just a little too far from centre of town to walk, but very good if you have a car. We will return here the next time we are in Aix.

Beautiful house, amazing hosts. You will feel like you are welcomed by friends. Big room, very clean and really comfortable bed. Safe parking and homemade breakfast cooked with bio products. I would go back to Aix-en-Provence just to enjoy this amazing accommodation again.

Our stay at Lousoan was so enjoyable! Jean and Lillian were the perfect hosts, so welcoming, kind, attentive and made us feel at home. Their house was lovely, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was so delicious with delectable home-made cake by Lillian. We would absolutely recommend staying at Lousoan if you are thinking about visiting Aix en Provence. The location is very close to a nearby bus stop and a convenient walk to the town centre. They also have a very adorable little dog! If we come back to Aix en Provence, we would love to stay here again. Thank you Jean and Lillian!!

we loved everything about our stay here. the room, the breakfast, the hosts - they will do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. we loved sitting by the endless pool, drinking Rose one afternoon during our stay.

Lovely people in a lovely house. Pure perfection. Lilian and Jean were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay unforgettable with their attentiveness.

Lovely house in a very smart area of AIX owned by Lillian and Jean who were the perfect hosts. Very relaxed atmosphere. House was kept lovely and cool whilst hot outside and bedroom included separate sitting room in addition to the en- suite. Outside there is a dipping pool with decking making for a comfortable rest/sunbathing area and a covered table where outdoor meals were possible.

Nothing really. The walk into AIX was easy and downhill but the return journey was of necessity uphill.

Lilian and Jean were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The pool area is lovely and relaxing. The breakfast was great, with lots on offer and home baked treats. They were very helpful for gluten free options too.

The location is a fair walk into and back from town and didn't feel that safe in the dark, so think you do need a car or taxi if coming back late. The dog was sweet but quite barky!
