«Birch Lodge» est niché sur 6 acres et se trouve juste à côté du prestigieux West Lake Road de Canandaigua. Confortable, moderne et pratique, cette location a tout pour plaire. Mise à jour début 2019 et décorée par des professionnels, cette location est parfaite pour un mariage, une dégustation de vin ou une réunion de famille au bord d'un lac. Cette location est parfaitement située en bas de la colline du port de Bristol et à 15 minutes du centre-ville de Canandaigua et de la station de ski de Bristol Mountain. C'est une propriété lacustre remarquable avec beaucoup de charme et de caractère.

WOW! This property is absolutely amazing! Stayed from Saturday to Saturday and wished we did not have to leave! The house is incredibly comfortable with so many different areas to relax and have some peace and quiet if you wanted. There was 10 of us in the house and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Meg was more than helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our group. I brought my brand new sailboat with me and meg was concerned about how much wake there would be on the dock from all the boat traffic, so she just went ahead and had a mooring ball dropped in the water just for me! Top notch move that made me feel very comfortable keeping my boat there. Anything we needed was already in the house

Our large family loved our stay at Birch Lodge. The home was so welcoming. We especially loved the lakeside area and the yard games. So many fun things to do! The kitchen is so well-stocked, and each living space beautifully designed. It seems there was nothing the hosts didn't think of!

Our group of 10 stayed here for a week in June 2023. To say that we loved it would be an understatement. This house is better than it appears in the photos. The host Meg is amazing and goes out of her way to give you a resort like feeling at a lake house - welcome gift bag and tons of extra touches everywhere. We loved both of the firepits, the outdoor seating with fantastic views and the yard games.The only drawback is that it is a steep walk to the water. It's not a long walk but it's steep and not elderly friendly. Other than that everything is absolutely perfect at this house. When we come back to Canandaigua, we won't even look at other houses. Thank you Meg for a fantastic vacation!

Thank you for remembering our 50th anniversary.
Your lodge was impressive. All of our family had a great time. It was easy to get to the PGA Tournament and back again. You have the lodge set up beautifully, both of our son cook, and could not have been more pleased with the kitchen. The grand kids enjoyed the lake and made use of the kayak and paddle boards. We had a wonderful time at the lake.

Birch Lodge is truly lovely. A spacious house with a gorgeous view of the lake, a very well-stocked kitchen, nicely appointed rooms, and even a fun selection of toys for the little ones. The host was quick to communicate with a few simple questions, none of which involved any problem with the house. Would come back again if we’re ever lucky enough to be in this picturesque location.

We were a group of 8 adults, 4 kids ages 6 to 10, and one infant, celebrating our parents’ 70th birthdays this year. This was a wonderful family property- we spent the majority of the week at the waterfront, enjoying swimming in the very clear water, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, floats and fishing.
We enjoyed some day trips: hiking at Watkins Glen state park, Ropes course at Bristol Mountain Aerial adventures, exploring the gardens at Sonnenburg Mansion, blueberry and sunflower picking at a nearby farm. The area is beautiful, rural and mostly agricultural.
The house is well stocked. We cooked all dinners in and found all the tools we needed. The dining room and outdoor patio were both large enough to seat our party of 13. All of the bedrooms (even the basement bunk room) were comfortable and set away enough from the living areas to allow for early bedtimes or sleeping in late if desired.
There are 2 washers, 2 dryers, and 2 fridges- so convenient with a large group!
Don’t hesitate to rent this property!

Nothing missed
Our week here was nothing short of amazing. This rental and experience with Meg is a poster child for what a VRBO experience should be. The house has everything…. Everything that a family would need. Items we’ve packed before for rentals weren’t needed here. The house itself is beautiful and every room has something to offer. Lake access is like walking into a pool. We will be back!

A perfect place to stay
The property was very well equipped and beautifully decorated. The hosts were very quick to respond to our questions. We had 4 generations, accommodating provisions for all, even baby gates and a monitor!

Another Great Week
Such a nice escape from the city and another great week relaxing again at birch lodge! Couldn’t have asked for a better time at the lake and will cherish the memories paddle boarding & kayaking with friends almost every morning. Love the addition of new fire pit so much that we ate every dinner outside around it! Already looking forward to next summer at birch lodge.

Birch Lodge was perfect for our family reunion as we had my 3 sisters and their husbands, my brother & his wife, my wife & me, and my sister-in-law. Three bedrooms had bathrooms ensuite and a 4th bedroom had a full bathroom immediately adjacent. There was also a half-bath so there was great accessibility for showers, etc.
Birch Lodge is a beautiful complex with a great view of the Canandaigua Lake.

Beautiful house with all the amenities
Birch Lodge is an absolutely lovely place. The amenities, from the plush, soft towels to the top notch appliances were superb.
I find that I value reviews most when they mention the negatives of a property, so I will mention two negatives, noting that my overall rating of Birch Lodge is excellent.
The walk down to the lake is steep and would be a challenge for the elderly, the very young and anyone infirm. There are some stone steps in the house which were difficult to manage for a family member who has knee problems, not to mention an active 20 month old boy.
Having said that, this property has everything you could want in a vacation home; nothing is missing. The view is spectacular, the amenities abundant and the location great.

Family Vacation
We had a fantastic week at Birch Lodge. When we arrived we were greeted with a fantastic welcome package including supplies for s’mores and even a birch lodge onesie for our littlest family member! The lodge was tastefully decorated, updated, and very clean. It was well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing and fun week at the lake. Lots of toys and supplies for kids in our group as well. The kids loved swimming in the lake and especially enjoyed the floating raft. This was the perfect spot for our large family to be together while also having plenty of space to spread out. Highly recommend!

Spectacular Lake House
Incredible house 20 minutes from town. House was very well stocked with everything we needed. Very clean and plenty of space for 7 adults and 3 children. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house and definitely will rent again.

Lakeside Retreat Of Your Dreams
The home is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It has all the amenities you could ever want or need. Paddleboards, sunfish sailboat, firepit, lawn games, bathrobes, fireplace, a kitchen that has everything you might need to prepare a gourmet meal and so much more. Amazing spot to get away from everything and spend quality time with family and friends. Great spot to watch the sunrise from the house or boat dock. One of our best vacations ever. Birch Lodge exceeded our expectations.

The perfect lake house getaway!/
Birchlodge is exactly what we pictured for our family getaway to the finger lakes. The location and views were ideal. The house was beautifully decorated and stocked. The layout was cozy but spacious . We could not have dreamed of a better house to house our 10 guest s. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Best place to stay with children
Travelled with 1 child, 1 toddler and an infant... could not have arrived at a better place for them. From cribs, monitor, cameras to baby gates and sippy cups... if we forgot anything - we were just fine because they have it all here. For us adults the home is beautiful and tastefully done. It’s secluded enough that you can relax and feel at peace. Would recommend this place to pretty much anyone.

Perfect house for large families
We stayed with a large group of family and the house was perfect. It had multiple areas for people to hang out and it never felt crowded. The owners provide many of the necessities in the house and had everything we needed for both the children and adults. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals for the week. The boathouse was perfect as we were able to keep bottles of water in the fridge that we could have while swimming. The paddle boards and yard games helped to keep us entertained. The owners were awesome to work with while planning the trip and were always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. This was the perfect spot for our vacation and we would definitely go back.

Amazing vacation at Birch Lodge
We were a multi generation group from 5 months to 65 years. There's something for everyone. From kitchen supplies to linens and beach towels. From baby gates and children's toys to adult paddleboarding. Birch Lodge supplied it all. The rooms and accommodations were above expectations.

Fabulous home!
This is a beautiful home! As other reviewers have mentioned it is extremely well appointed with high end equipment and furnishings. The beds were supremely comfortable. Setting is amazing! Lots of living areas so you never felt like you are falling over each other. Plenty of spaces outside also. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property.

Birch Lodge is just beautiful! The hosts have thought of everything you could want and every detail was well done! Property is amazing, private, gorgeous views, comfy beds, terrific towels! Had fun in game room, really was a great getaway and can’t wait to book another visit!

Perfect family-friendly lake getaway!
Wow - this place has everything you can think of and more! I was impressed by the pictures but they don't do the property justice. The house is very comfortable and was perfect to handle our large group. The owners have gone the extra mile to make it as comfortable as possible for guests. There's plenty of space for groups to hang out for meals and to kick back and relax with a basement area great for kids/teens to hang out, complete with big screen TV and ping pong table. We loved the great views of the lake from the house and plenty of seating areas outside as well to take in the view and enjoy some peace and quiet. It feels very private and like your personal retreat while you're there. The location in the middle of the lake is great as well and makes it convenient to explore the area. I highly recommend Birch Lodge if you're looking for a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy the lake.

Beautiful house, amazing views & incredibly kid/family friendly
Our family stayed here for a week with two toddlers and two infants and we had a blast! My first thought when I walked in the door was “this place is beautiful!” And then as we toured the home and upstairs, we realized that the owners literally thought of everything for a family vacation. There were cribs in the rooms, sound machines, monitors, sippy cups, baby soap, toys and playmates for the kids and babies...and our toddlers had so much fun playing together outside in the water table, kiddie pool and yard everyday! Everything was clean and neat, the decor was beautiful! And waking up early every morning to have a cup of coffee on the patio, viewing the lake was so nice. We were also minutes away from several beautiful wineries & breweries! :) Overall, a wonderful place to get away and relax.
