We had the room in front (1st floor (2nd floor in USA) and you see the white framed windows when you approach which we loved as the hotel is quaint and picturesque. Mia (?) was our host and wonderful. There is an outdoor bar and limited but excellent restaurant that locals use in addition to travelers and guests. Very clean and walkable to the entire town which has many excellent restaurants.

Situated in a beautiful square in the middle of the old part of town. Arrived late after a longer than anticipated drive so a warm welcome, a spotless room with a comfy bed and a lovely glass of Rioja were all very welcome. oh and somewhere to park the car too!!

The location in the center of the village is ideal.

The bedroom was really small and the curtain was just on top of the pillows.

Excellent position for access to the town. Everyone spoke English and they were really helpfull .

Although we managed to get parking for our motorbike it was pure luck that at this time of year no one else was there ,the hotel has only 3 spaces, 2 of which are totally unacceptable for motorbikes as they are on the street a walk away from the hotel, we would love to return in the spring with our motorcycling friends from Scotland but if we can't get the same parking space that would not be possible

Impossible tiny wheelchair accessible room!!! Absolutely no room for a wheelchair. Very, very basic handicap aids in bathroom! Do not recommend for mobility reduced traveler!!!!! The room with a double bed is appox. 3mt by 4mt. We had to remove a small desk, a chair and night table to get the wheelchair into the room. Again, I don't recommend this room to any handicap traveler!

Great location

The hotel is in the centre of the old walled town. Parking is available free about 5 minutes walk away. There is a small cafe bar on site, but closes by 2300. The hotel is attractive & situated in a beautiful square. The main attraction for us was the newer part of town about 10 minutes walk away, with many bars & restaurants. The river which separates France & Spain is just beyond. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff, English speaking.

Relatively expensive. All bedrooms on 1st floor or above. There is no lift & upper floors reached via spiral staircase with deep steps. Because of construction & location relatively noisy. Being in the centre of a fortified town there is a walk up a steep hill over cobbles however you come into the centre of town. Insufficient light in shower room to shave easily. Stayed in same room as 7 months before & had deteriorated, eg toilet seat loose.

Located in a beautiful plaza with surrounding cafes and shops. There is a restaurant connected to the hotel, though we didn’t have time to eat there or to explore much of the town unfortunately. The room was compact but had all of the essentials that we needed for a one-night stay, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The price was also very affordable, which made the stay excellent overall.

There were only two free spaces for the hotel behind the property, otherwise nearby parking could be purchased. We ended up parking in a free lot several minutes away and walking back to the property.

Location is ideal and within walking distance of modern part of the city as well as beach.

With a fiesta on, view from balcony was obstructed by a huge tent-like structure right in front of it, and it got very noisy on the plaza until about midnight.

Fantastic hotel in a gorgeous building, with a charming terrace restaurant/bar. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made our holiday extremely enjoyable. Location perfect, in the centre of the old town with its cobbled streets, beautiful buildings, plentiful tapas bars and great views. Loved it. By chance we were entertained first by a concert set up in the square in front of the hotel, and later by a film crew recording a period drama in the streets. Fabulous place.

Having a room on the second floor with no lift, the stone spiral staircase was a challenge - a good workout for the heart! But really, not a problem.

Perfect location in the heart of the old town in a historic building. The owners also run the adjacent bar and café - very convenient.

I had the main floor accessible room and it was noisy. WIndow on to the street and the bar bathroom outside of my room.

Dated. My room had a very specific location where the noise from outside and inside could’ve been an issue, but luckily it was a quiet night and guests had their breakfast outside.
