The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms and facilities were spotless and well maintained. Breakfast is delicious with a lovely sea view. Highly recommend, very relaxing and hotel has air-conditioning which is apparently quite rare in the area!

Fabulous location and size of room

Signs posted all around the hotel saying quiet after 10.00 pm people next door were having a party, and the door to their room was opened and closed and slammed constantly. We tried to call reception after 2 hours but no reply.

We loved the location away from the major centre of Royan and on a beautiful beach. Staff were all helpful. Breakfast was very good of a bit expensive. Good secure underground parking.

The only thing I disliked was the WiFi - one of those silly systems that takes all your details then when you have finished your work and come back later the WiFi demands you go through the registration process again. Come on guys make it simpler.

Very good location

Nothing really

This is a perfect location to get for a break away from routine. The rooms have lovely warm colours unlike most cold hotel rooms. You have the perfect view of the bay. The hotel is near many great restaurants and bars. We went in winter and the room was very warm. We could hear the waves crash on the shore in the evenings. Staff were very kind. Our room was well cleaned every morning.

The breakfast was average but really very good for a 3* hotel. The bathtub is small but again very good for a 3* hotel. TV channels limited but TV isn’t necessary when you have a beautiful ocean to visit. It’s difficult to complain to be honest! I’d stay there again if I visited Royan again.

Royan is a bit quiet in November. A lot of restaurants were shut.

The Location

Too expensive for what it was. Problems with WiFi. Problem with the water, there was none for about 30 minutes. Couldn’t feel the air con unless you were standing under it. Car parking was so tight it was hard to get out of the car.

Rooms weren’t very spacious, personal weren’t exactly friendly. Too expensive for one night.

Average breakfast. Location excellent. Hotel could do with a good clean and repaint. Dirty carpets.

Better air conditioning and better selection of gluten free products as bread is not very imaginative.
