The pool and sauna area was closed and they didn't add that information anywhere so when I booked it, I booked and accepted the high price because it had a spa. The fact that it was closed and that that was a really unwelcomed surprise didn't seem to bother the staff. I had paid, they got the money so no problem if the guest is unhappy. They do offer an alternative but you have to leave the hotel and cross the street and that place is neither cosy nor classy. I wouldn't go back.

Great service, Hotel close to the beach

I paid over 850,00 € for a 3 night stay and the room was terrible: 1. NO Air Condition or Air system to circulate the air in the room which would have been ok IF you could open the windows BUT the room was towards the street with all the restaurants frying fish. 2. So, whenever you opened the window during the evening/night for some fresh air or a little cooling with 27 Degrees summer, it instantly smelled like fish in the room. Terrible 3. The hotel is called BEACH HOTEL Ostseeblick and I just happened to find out on the end bill that I had to pay 3€ per day for a beach towel each. I mean, this hotel calls itself a beach hotel, so you would think that at least a towel for the same is included in a rate that is almost 300,00 € per night.... 4. I was expecting to have a bath tup in the room as it is supposed to be a 4 star Hotel. (German 4 stars not to forget) I can not recommend to stay there as there is not enough value for the money considering the points above. I believe the main issue are the rooms to the street - I guess the side to the ocean makes up for some of it. Me and my family won't for sure come back.
