Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Aurora Weckalarm wahr genial.

Todo genial. Ubicación, limpieza, instalaciones… además, cerca de varias zonas donde comer algo, y dar un paseo. También me pareció que Selfoss es una buena ubicación para ver auroras boleares, por lo que el hotel está bien situado para moverse por los alrededores

Frühstück war mehr wie einfach gehalten. Die Lage war gut, so dass man das Abendessen außerhalb einnehmen kann.

Personal war leider nicht besonders, insbesondere die Dame am Empfang. Betten waren nicht toll und die Zimmer sehr einfach gehalten, so dass das Preisleistungs-Verhältnis nicht gut war.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit top Frühstück, sehr netten Personal und man wird benachrichtigt wenn man die Polarlichter sieht!

Rooms aren’t very large, but are decently sized.

Krásné ubytování v moderním hotelu. Skvěle místo s výhledem, klidná lokalita, naproti skvělá restaurace a prochazka městem v ideální vzdálenosti,obchod i benzinka hned u nosu. Wake up služba na auroru je skvělá ! Snídaně bohaté i s možnosti bezlepkové pečiva.

Hotel moderno e molto bello in centro a Selfoss, camera molto spaziosa, bagno grande e colazione eccellente. Parcheggio comodo fuori dalla struttura, gratuito per gli ospiti dell’hotel. A pochi passi a piedi tanti posti dove mangiare e un supermercato

In example order, the breakfast was excellent, it was a great buffet and you just helped yourself. The staff were lovely and it was a great way to start the day. We had the riverside room and it was gorgeous, we were in awe when we first walked into the room. The beds were comfy the room was spacious and we loved being there. The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Selfoss. There are some lovely walks around the hotel and is close to all the best eateries, the staff helped us with finding the northern lights, and they were always polite and friendly. From the moment we arrived, we loved it, and we want to return to Iceland. So, we will gladly return.

Die Lage im Zentrum direkt am Fluss ist sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind praktisch und gut ausgestattet, wenn auch nicht direkt neu. Das Frühstück war super

Good rooms, clean but with hidden charges

We booked a room with a free stay for a child up to 16 years old. When we got there we got charged another extra 8000 isk for an extra bed. At no point we were warned of this extra charge, not when I booked and paid, never. Only when we got there they say it was free if he slept in the bed with the parent (??), but even then the bed was already there, it wouldn't have been an option.

Hótel Selfoss er mjög vel staðsett í hjarta bæjarins. Morgunverðurinn var góður og útsýni úr herberginu var frábært.

Love the location. Breakfast is lovely and room comfortable. Desk staff is welcoming and friendly. Easy to park, too!

When I was in Selfoss with my wife in June our room had a river view. This time I was looking over the front of the building toward the parking lot. Not so much to look at on that side.

Elevator broken, spa sauna not working, room old and not up to date, cracks in ceiling, chips on bathroom counter, peeling pain on balcony roof. Shower was tiny, barely fit in!

The Lobby / elevator to our rooms need to be a facelift... Also the overall look from the outside. It looked a little bit rotten

No criticisms. Overall great stay and would definitely come back and recommend to others. :)

Only stayed one short overnight so cannot give exceptional review as we were only there to sleep five hours; was clean, which is important; had a good breakfast included; rooms were large which was good - slept 3 easily on two twins and a pullout (pullout was tough to sleep on); good location with a gas, shops, and restaurants walkable

Clean, comfortable beds, nice view towards the river, good buffet breakfast was included and the price was reasonable.
