very friendly staff wonderful breakfast

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mumann all of the staff we very kind and friendly they couldnt do enoughfor us, Angelo, Jasmine. Rosa, Maria, and Lou I hope she doesn't mind because i had to shorten her name as I couldn't pronounce it she was a sweet young apprentice, and not forgetting Giuseppe the all round help from pool cleaning to tuk tuk lifts photo opertunitys and night bar service along with Antonio, ALL in All it was a Fantastic stay and would thoroughly recommend it. Maratea old town was very quaint indeed. I managed to have a walk up to it it was a very enjoyable walk.

it was a beautiful spot near ocean. the hosts were very accommodating and helpful during our stay.

Tucked up against the mountains, the hotel staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating despite there being few foreign tourists here. The brightly coloured bar area outside and pool are well set up and instantly appealing. The room was spotless. When we had a small problem with the shower this was sorted out immediately. The port was lively despite being out of season with a variety of dining options including haute cuisine at Lanterna Rossa. Breakfast at the hotel was a la carte with many delicious choices. Easy parking despite the Italian love affair with the motor car which means that no one walks anywhere.

The bathroom was cramped and had nowhere to hang bath towels. A rickety glass shelving unit stocked with tall top heavy cosmetics seemed like an accident waiting to happen.

Very welcoming, helpful staff, comfortable well decorated room and exceptional breakfast. We would choose to stay here again if in the area. very much enjoyed our stay.

Nothing, but recommend you book a room on an upper floor if you would like a sea view.

The position: the hotel is close to the beach and to the small port of Maratea. Breakfast was outstanding, as well as the staff.

Breakfast … great choice and service excellent

We arrived in Maratea by train on short notice and were delighted by the friendly and helpful staff, welcome drink, good proximity to both the train station and a lovely beach. We were offered a late check-out which we were grateful for as we were only staying one night and this allowed us to enjoy the hotel properly and yet still pack in an express visit of the area. We enjoyed walking from the Christ the Redeemer of Maratea statue down through town back to the hotel for a final swim in the hotel pool, before being shuttled back to the station for our onward journey. Breakfast was also very yummy and filling.

The only improvement recommended would be the uograde of the mattress.

The success of this hotel lies in its staff - super kind and friendly in the traditional Basilicate manner. The hotel itself is very clean and perfectly suitable for a beach holiday. 4 star (probably because of the swimming pool) but comfortable rather than luxurious. Good value for money and very good service.

this hotel is in a very peaceful location but only a walk away from the lovely Lido Le Pergole, it met all our expectations. The staff were always available to help with a friendly smile and nothing was too much trouble. The courtyard was a lovely place to have breakfast as well an aperativo or a late night coffee
