Christophe was helpful and very accommodating to our group of 12. The breakfast was good and the location was excellent. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
There was no lift and although there was a kettle there were no mugs or coffee/tea.

Great hotel, fabulous location, close to harbour, Beach, restaurants and Shops, Centre of town 5 minutes walk, dog friendly and good breakfast. Staff spoke English but I always do try to speak to them in French, extremely friendly staff. Very good value for money, We will stay here again.

Superb location near the old city and restaurants. Adequate room, bed comfortable but room nothing special. Wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night.
Shower had good hot water. Genial staff.
Town square car park within minutes walk. Overnight free.
Room provided kettle but no cups or tea or coffee sachet. Breakfast was frugal compared to other hotels with restrictions on choice and had to be chosen in advance. No fresh fruit or fruit salad though apple puree offered. It's the extra thoughtful touches that make a hotel somewhere you wish to return to.

Everything about the hotel was as expected - great location, clean environment inside the hotel and room, kind staff, comfortable bed. We didn't try the breakfast as there are numerous great bakeries around the old town of La Rochelle, but it was a positive when staff let us check out 45 minutes after the usual 11:00.
There was no Wi-Fi or reception in our room (Wi-Fi was available in front of reception), which could be a major deal-breaker if you travel for work and need to attend a meeting or two. Luckily, we didn't spend much time needing internet while in the hotel so it wasn't a huge issue for us. Loud children could also be heard from the nearby Airbnbs at times, but it wasn't overwhelming and that pretty much happens wherever you go.
