Our stay at the hotel was perfect. The whole experience was amazing but the price was the icing on the cake. There were renovation works going on across the road however the only noise from this when we stayed was a crane beeping every now and again. We knew about the renovation works in advance so paid slightly more for a pool view room. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has clearly recently been renovated. The room was lovely. The breakfasts were great with loads of options. The pool area was fantastic and we never had trouble getting sun beds. They say they remove towels after 10 minutes though I never witnessed this happening. The large lounge beds were always the first to have towels set out in the morning though if you were eagle eyed it was quite easy to get one later in the day. My husband loved both the indoor and outdoor gyms and said that they were really well equipped. We both had a go at pickle ball at the hotel’s court which was really fun. There is a supermarket which shares a building with the front of the hotel and it was handy for drinks and snacks. The hotel bar was great and the staff were so lovely. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but enjoyed sitting out at the bar as there was often music in the evening. We ate mostly in town, it’s a quiet place that is a little drab in places but very quaint. Overall the hotel was really well kept, very clean, very stylish, and the staff were wonderful.

If I’m being really fussy: If we were late getting towels for the reception we were given smaller towels the size of a hand towel rather than a large pool towel. Make sure you go to reception early if you want a new towel. You have to pay €1 per each day you use a towel so you might as well get a new one daily. We had to ask for the air conditioning temperature for our room to be turned down as it was set to 24degrees by the hotel. I would have liked one double bed instead of singles pushed together.

It was incredibly clean, the pool area was beautiful and it was super relaxing! free cocktails on arrival, I spent more money last year spending one night in a 5* Barcelo for the same price as 3 nights here and enjoyed this hotel far more.

The only downside are the beds, 2 twin beds squished together which moved easily when me and my partner moved during the night. We would wake up with a big gap between us which I'm sure is fine for some people but we felt as if we were sleeping in separate beds

Very nice small hotel. about 2 kilometers from the beach, in the center of Cotillo. Nice rooms, gym and restaurant.

The accommodation was great - very clean. The staff were fantastic and went the extra mile. The food was very good too.

Fabulous pool - heated and super-clean. Lovely area around the pool for lying with beautiful beds. Really lovely restaurant and a nice selection for breakfast. The hotel is in a lovely location within easy walking distance of the beach and all parts of El Cotillo, which is a stunning little town.

The buffet selection in the evening was not replenished, so you had to eat early or have less choice - this may have been because it was February?

The hotel is nice and quiet, at least when we were there, i.e. January and super clean. Staff super gentle and trying to accommodate needs and fix/compensate for issues, if any.

What was really a disappointment was the breakfast. Assortment not as a 4 start hotel in my view. Most "warm" food was cold if arriving around 9.30/10.00 (breakfast served till 10.30). Eggs were prepared for the first serve and left on a tray for the next ones, getting cold. Same for pancakes, bacon etc. Refill of finished food on the trays took a bit long. Staff was "running" to cope with it, but clearly they were not enough vs. the number of guests.

Hotel was spotlessly clean, it was modern and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of options. The staff were very friendly.

I really liked the hotel itself, it was new, nice, clean, well located. Rooms were decorated in modern design, clean. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory.

I must say that the main problem I had was with the room location, directly above the restaurant. This, in combination with the connection door between two rooms, which did not isolate sounds at all, made the stay very unconfortable. I found this as the biggest issue of the hotel. You can hear everything from your neighbours - toilet sounds, shower, if there is a family with child as it was in our case, it was too much (not blaming the families with children ofc.). Maybe if they divide the hotel in sectors such as "quiet zone" or so, it would make the stay much confortable.

Reception staff very helpful. Good range of food options in restaurant. Price was good. Location very good for hiking and swimming.

Our room looked like it could do with redecoration. Some of the tiles and furniture are well past their use by date. In mitigation, perhaps this comment is only applicable to our room.

It’s a really nice and modern hotel but there’s very little happening within it and most of the guests use local amenities, bars and restaurants which there’s plenty of. Pool was great. Location is good. It didn’t seem to busy so we had nice relaxing time. Despite some of my negative feedback I still feel it’s well worth a visit and it’s a good value for money. It could be a truly amazing place with few small amendments.

There’s no atmosphere at the hotel. It mostly just caters for rooms and there’s no room service, nowhere to get a drink, except occasionally open bar and some of the facilities are being charged extra for like pool towels, tennis court etc. I also didn’t like the fact that on the night of our arrival we were put in the room that seemed like staff accommodation, with no see through windows and ‘terrace doors’ coming out to the staircase. It was rectified the following day but it was an unpleasant start of the holiday. Finally there’s a big building site right outside of the hotel which generates fair amount of the noise from early hours of the morning so it’s unfortunate if you end up in that part of the hotel that overlooks work. Aim for pool view rooms and I appreciate its challenging situation for the hotel and not really their fault.

Location was excellent for me. Short walk to town & beaches. Shop almost next door. Fridge in the room. Large bathroom. Big wardrobe. Coffee machine. Very clean. Easy to park nearby.

Almost everything, but especially the unbelievably fantastic staff! Cleaners, receptionists, night porter, hospitality, everyone! A wonderful team who were as friendly as they were helpful. Thank you for being so amazing!

Aside from breakfast (which was delicious!), the food was unfortunately disastrous, even in the partner restaurant nearby. It was like horror movie stuff, and we're not even picky eaters. We filled up on breakfast then lived off sandwiches from the supermarket next door. However, this was the only downside to an otherwise magnificent stay!

The hotel is well located in El Cortillo within easy walking to beach and restaurantds. Cleanliness in the hotel is very good and the staff in the restaurant and bar are very friendly and professional.

Room balcony overlooked building works which were taking place at the front of the hotel. we never received any prior notification of this from the hotel or Booking.com.

Very comfortable room, comfortable/relaxing communal spaces, all staff very friendly and professional, good facilities, good food - extensive selection at breakfast, good live music in restaurant.Excellent location, 4-5 minutes walk to beach, village, local bus, restaurants/bars/shops.

No complaints, exceeded my expectations.
