IThe staff are exceedingly helpful especially Hector and Maria. The room was clean The air conditioning worked and breakfast was good. The decor is itateful and there even have coy carp swimming aroiund in a small pool. Excellent value for money and well situated..I would hesitate to stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The building is charming and the location just couldn't be beaten. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby and I was safe walking around at night.

I'm that kind of person who skips the breakfast but never the coffee... In my opinion the breakfast from here gives you that boost you need it in the mornings because is rich and diverse

This is an elegant hotel and was much nicer than expected. best of of all was the fabulous staff. They went above and beyond for arranging for (free) breakfast at 5:00 am as well as a taxi for an early airport departure. Also, lots of strong water pressure and hot water to shower—not a given in Colombia. it is located near plenty of restaurants as well.

Our room was a little small.

I hadn’t even gotten out of the taxi by the time the customer service for Hotel Castilla Real had begun. When I got out, Hector had already received my luggage from the taxi driver. He asked me how much I paid before the taxi left to ensure I wasn’t overcharged. He asked me how my day was, where I was from and what plans I had in Pereira. I salute Hector for his English, having never studied it. My check-in was quick and seamless. I was offered coffee while I waited for my documents to be scanned. I was accompanied to my room (this was at 9:30am when check-in was at 3pm) and rested. Throughout the day Jhon and Hector helped me locate restaurants, stores and the shopping centre. This level of customer service is what you would expect at The Plaza Hotel in New York. As well as that, I was only staying one night! The rooms are a good size, modern and have rain showers. The breakfast is buffet and also is good (eggs, pancakes, juices etc). Because of my experience I returned for another two nights.

No elevator and the current system of ordering breakfast the day before with no menu is awful.

Excelent place. Near night life. They sent me the breakfast (included in the price) to my room, without any additional charge. The staff is awesome and help me with almost anything (including going to the street to find a cab at 3:00 am).

Desk and chair are not comfortable. It's difficult to work there.
