It was exceptionally clean and close to the centre. We had a lovely sleep,the mattresses were extremely comfy

The breakfast had limited choice for gluten free, only offers gluten free bread but not cereals or granola

The service from all the staff was very good, both at the reception and the restaurant, they were all very nice and helpful. The room was clean, bright and comfortable. We could walk from the hotel to some great destinations.

Needed more hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom and could have had a shelf in the shower for accessories

Good breakfast, well presented. Room was very comfortable, hotel is in a convenient location for everything I wanted to see/do (The Minster, Railway Museum especially). Staff were all welcoming and efficient. Other visitors were great!

Evening meal could have had a wider selection, but what I ate was very good.

Buenísimos los cuartos garantía ! Descansas perfectamente, Baños de buen espacio así como jabones y shampoo. Desayuno delicioso solo ojalá hubiera un poco de ensalada.Llegas en 5-10 minutos al hotel desde la estación de tren.

Breakfast, location all great and staff lovely as far as they could be.

Parking not included nor on-site... Air con on 4th Floor not working for our stay, so all my family struggled to sleep in 28+c room with no openable windows and a 5 hr drive ahead of us. Reception kindly provided a fan though its noise meant for an upsetting night for our little son. A fix was promised later that evening though nothing had happened by time we left at 9.30am next morning.

Location nearest to the main line Railway Station. friendly reception staff. Efficient heating and ventilation controls The exit door using you Hotel Room Key card by lift by pressing Zero to the flat council offices path, avoiding the hill walk

A long hill and uneven walk up to the Hotel. My usual Omlete was not available for breakfast time. No Tomato juice was available. Most times the Orange Juice was heavily watered down. The Lifts would take you to different levels than you wish to go during busy times.( breakfast and departure times)

Less than 10 mins walk from the train station. 15mins into centre of town. Varied choice at breakfast (included in the price) Bed was comfortable & room well appointed with ensuite (large walk-in shower).

The room was perfect and breakfast was the best we have had in an hotel in recent years. It was also good to have a wardrobe to hang clothes. Hanging rails only in new hotels abroad.

The property if very clean, staff are friendly and location is great. Near the train station and able to leave your bags and go off and check out York.

The only improvement would be to have a hooks in the room to hang wet coats. Also more hooks in the bathroom for towels when 2 friends are sharing the room .

Beds were very hard and uncomfortable, breakfast was a bit chaotic and not the best quality. Considering the price for one night I thought it could have been better.

Weeks before id requested 3 things 1) not feather pillow or bedding, 2) a quiet room and 3rd a preference room on top flþp ... Hotels action.. 1 -.PILLOWS standard - no feather 2 - quiet - recently decorated , very creeky bed ,((( required maintainance staff to tighten ready for second night 3.had asked weeks in advance - for an upper floor .. (when allocated a room- ende in a below ground floor

The hotel was a great location to stay everything was clean, the breakfast was lovely had a very good selection of food staff brilliant always happy to help if needed

Just a little minor issue with being on ground floor could hear above and the doors make a bang when someone leaving the room, but I am a light sleeper so might not bother others

Location was ideal and would definitely stay again, especially if we were going to the Barbican. The room was spacious , clean and comfortable. There was plenty of choice at breakfast.

Location was poor, no parking other than a NCP arrangement for an extra £35 The 'lounge bar' where one might have a light snack, was laid out such that one noisy group could (and did, in our case) be heard throughout the lounge. It was not fit for purpose. The menu of hot snacks was very limited.
