Musty smell, damp patches on walls, freezing cold on arrival, heating wouldn’t stay on had to contact the owner, generally poor accommodation old bedrooms and bathrooms in need of modernisation, overpriced.

Great place to stay; good location to reach Abersoch/Criccieth, cosy fires, comfy beds.

Heating system was a little confusing at first

The house was comfortable and well located in relation to the sea and Morfa Nefyn village.

(1) We were told that a "deep clean" would be carried out after departure of the previous clients. This was not so, as they had not cleaned up after a dog and it was necessary to use a mop and bucket on the utility room floor. This showed that the floor was seriously dirty. (2)The TV was difficult to work. Programmes could only be obtained through iPlayer, which many would not be familiar with, and this restricted choice of stations. In the circumstances it would have been sensible to provide a DVD player and discs. (3) The heating system was also complex, requiring use of an App. It then ran for 2 hours and switched itself off. It was beyond our capability to set the timer. (4) Arrangements for waste disposal were also difficult.
