Struttura, personale, colazione e pulizia

La struttura è ricavata da una bellissima villa immersa in un grande giardino privato molto ben curato,con vari spazi conviviali ed una bellissima piscina.La stanza era spaziosa e molto gradevole nel design.Il personale è stato accogliente e disponibile. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di incontrare la proprietaria, persona squisita, che svolge il suo lavoro con tanta passione.

Zeer ruime tuinrijk geheel, oudere villa verscholen in het groen. Zeer mooi maar het snoeien van de planten had al mogen begonnen zijn, verder mooi zwembad, bar, parking, inrichting is zeer mooi!

Het onderhoud van de struiken, zij moeten zeer dringend gesnoeid worden!!

Beautiful property, grounds, swimming pool etc

Breakfast selection - same every day, lots of pastries, some cereal, you could request eggs etc, but I had to ask several times for tea and milk each time. Ants every where at breakfast and on some of the fruit. Set of rules in the room, quite rude and abrupt. Lack of tea/coffee making facility in the room, no drawers. Extremely small TV that was very high on the wall with extremely poor signal, which rendered it pointless to use. On check in after 3pm our room was not ready when check in was 3pm. There is a gym on site but it looks like it’s in a big greenhouse and was very hot. Towels extremely thin.

Beautiful building and grounds with lovely pool to relax by. Very friendly and helpful staff would definitely return if I am back in Gallipoli

A little far to walk to the beautiful old town

We loved the peace and tranquility of the lushly landscaped grounds, the quiet pool area and the beautifully appointed interior of the hotel. The staff was always kind and ready to help with any request with a smile. The dining area was spacious and elegant - very romantic. At night the entire property seemed to be bathed in candle light. We felt very welcomed and valued as guests.

We wish there were a few good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. To dine out we always had to drive into Gallipoli. Although it was only a short drive to the busy town center, it was very difficult and stressful to find a parking space at night. Best to have alot of coins on hand because parking meters don't always work with credit cards.

Too many regulations about what you can’t do! Dinner choices have to be made in morning and limited choices. Our meal was very average… put us off eating there again. No facilities to make a tea/ coffee in your room or anywhere in property. Also breakfast area was over run by ants and were in the food. Breakfast food was not covered pr kept cool. Bar / waiter , Lugo was very helpful and very friendly. Expensive for what it is.

The room, situated in the semi-basement, emitted an unpleasant odor, likely due to mold, which the pictures failed to accurately depict.

The pool was lovely.

Grout in the shower was mouldy. Our salad took an hour to be served at lunchtime. Service was a little unprofessional.

The gardens and pool area and the main house were beautiful. Layout was lovely.

Not the house fault but would have been great if it had been within walking distance of town of Gallipoli. Each time we went out to Gallipoli had to take car so had to make sure didn’t drink too much, plus parking was fairly expensive.

the property is great. charming, comfortable, quiet and beautiful large rooms. it is also, close to the city and with easy access to roads to visit other cities and beaches.

the only suggestion to improve is the speed of service in the breakfast. As some things we have to order (coffee, eggs, butter, sugar, etc.) they should come much faster.

A kettle would be nice for early morning cup of tea but not a massive issue just something we have every morning.

Facilities were good and set in a serene private location. The pool, breakfast and dinner areas were all lovely.

Breakfast was fairly basic and no real chef on hand based on the quality of omelettes produced. We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening and ordered in advance two lots of fish of the day. We were served a lovely sea bass fish each but nothing else. On request a 'salad' was produced, which consisted of lettuce out the bag. We ordered the most expensive champagne on the menu LP blanc de blanc but after 10 minutes of the waiter looking, were served a lesser version. No bucket with ice or champagne flutes were provided until requested. Opting not to ruin the evening, I raised the issue of the lesser champagne being served expecting a reduction in the bill. The owners were notified and simply stated "no that's the price". After a great few days at the venue this left a bad taste but we still enjoyed our time. My main observation would be a lack of detail for the guests and refinement. No complimentary waters provided in the room, no iron to offer without charging.

100% satisfied. The owner Carla is one of the most charming individuals you could meet who is dedicated to ensuring that each visitor's stay is remarkable. The grounds and the Maison D'Henri itself are exceptionally beautiful. It is evident that great thought went into every detail about this property. The house itself is lovely with great expansive areas in which to lounge, enjoy a cocktail or have dinner in a quiet candlelit atmosphere which is rare. We arrived late not having made any reservations for dinner and still were accommodated with a lovely meal. And a bonus, a very laid back and expressive elderly Corso Cane named Otto roams the property in the most unobtrusive manner. Our only regret was that we stayed only one night. Next time we will book for longer and be able to enjoy all the joys of this property.

Not a thing.

Absolutely stunning, it was the highlight of our holiday. Beautiful house set in beautiful grounds. The staff were lovely and the food and drink very reasonably priced. It’s a little out of Gallipoli so you really need a car as taxis are very expensive.

Wow, one of the best places I stayed . Beautiful surrounding Lovely heated pool, huge garden with many sitting corners. The lounge/ lobby is so elegant. And of course good size room very comfortable, clean, new. Loved the design. A real gem

beautiful property. Amazing heated pool. Good breakfast. 7 min drive from amazing beach with lots of parking. we went to Lido Sottovento Gallipoli. there is a tiny gym that hadn’t been used in a long time but I still thought this was a bonus.

Cats and dogs are around the property freely. It’s only an issue if you’re scared of them.

Wonderful property, loved the dinner on request service, food was excellent. Amazing breakfast and large room. The owner has three cute dogs and cats that made our stay more joyful. Also, Carla - the owner - is very involved in everything which is highly appreciated, she even served us dinner.

Staff was not too thoughtful of our needs, i.e. when we arrived many of the amenities were not presented to us at all, the lady just showed us the pool, confirmed breakfast hours etc., but there was no mention about massage services, dinner on request. A Lot of mosquitos - buy a spray before your stay, otherwise you’ll get many bites.

The property feels like an oasis on the outskirts of town. The pool area and surrounding lush gardens and paths are beautiful. The staff was very helpful (especially with some last-minute changes that affected our luggage pick-up) and breakfast was plentiful.

We were traveling by bike so it was a bit of a pricey taxi ride into the city for dinner at night. It’s close if you have a car though.

Beautiful villa, fantastic grounds and garden, super clean and friendly staff. Very relaxing atmosphere. It is a brisk 35 minute walk to the old city, suited us as we enjoy walking but it might be a bit too far for some people. Taxis are available. Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay.
