Beautiful and historic building. Free minibar and happy hour was nice. Got a free room upgrade. Concierge helped plan good visit to Terracotta Warriors Museum.

Was a bit empty of guests. Breakfast was not the best - pasties seemed stale or outsourced. Staff struggled with English at time.

Upon arrival we received an upgrade to a Suite which was very convenient. One of the best hotel rooms we ever stayed in; noise free, great bed, nice breakfast & tea. We accidentally switched on the ‘no dusturb’ sign and we only discovered when we arrived at 9PM, but Housekeeping came directly to change the towels and do the necessary works. Special thanks to all staff for making our stay perfect!!

Hotel is clearly run in old style fashion without real attention to guests. Food was terrible, which is something quite difficult in China. Room service in particular was incredibly poor for an hotel of this standing.

Great hotel, with a lot of history, great facilities and an excellent staff.

A french castle in the midlle of istorical Xi’an!

One of the best experiences I had traveling in China. The staff - especially Fancy and Eva - went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was great, rooms very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice hotel aesthetically and location wise

I booked this fancy hotel for my birthday trip and the alarm went off both mornings I stayed there, so i did not sleep properly either night. the 'butler' didn't know how to open a bottle of wine which took 45 minutes to arrive, the massage was expensive and the masseuse tried to sell me another massage halfway through thus delaying the massage and upsetting me. She also massaged my knees in a way I've never experienced and 6 days later my knee is still in pain so will use my only day off this week to visit the hospital and thus pay hospital bills for her bad techniques. Very Bad experience of customer service at this hotel - especially for the level of hotel
