Die location und auch die wohnung sind super für familien mit kindern und hunden. Abseits von befahrenen strassen, mitten im grünen, toller garten mit trampolin und genug platz und alle notwendige ausstattung!
Wenn jemand duscht, dann ist es für die angrenzenden zimmer sehr laut…

Super tolle Lage, sehr ruhig gelegen. Ausstattung war gut, war alles da. Vielen Dank. Würden es auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.
Mein Sohn hätte sich über das WLAN gefreut. Hat irgendwie nicht geklappt. Aber fand ich nicht so schlimm. Für das was man wirklich muss, reicht es völlig.

Great location, quiet and secluded but close enough to town. Lots of space for our family of five. The beds were very comfortable. The space was very clean and cozy. Everything we needed to cook dinner and relax after a couple of days of hiking in appenzell and exploring St. Gallen. (Each within half an hour's drive). Highly recommend, especially for big families!
A little cold. A few radiators not working. Probably wouldn't stay any later in the season unless the problem was remedied. Definitely plenty of warm blankets, though!

The location is amazing. On the mountain, close to a river and with garden. In very close contact to nature.
Didnt meet the host but he was very friendly and left us everything prepared to make an easy check-in and enjoy the apartment, it was ready even before expected.
I would come back and recommend for sure.
Not a big issue for us but just a remark for visitors, wifi signal might be not strong and water for shower was heated by solar energy (fine for us)

Was really excited about the apartment, everything was clean, the host was really friendly, no problem with speaking english. He met with us upon arrival, handed us the keys. We were really happy with the acommodation.
The only thing that could be inconvenient is that one of the bedrooms is in a little hallway next ti the doors to another bedroom and bathroom. Also, it might be worrysome for someone that there are doors that lead to the hosts part of the building, locked from the hosts side

We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 7 and 2 year old kids). We stayed 4 nights. We had a fantastic time and we all loved the property. Fun and cozy space to play, enjoy good meals and we all slept great. Also valued being 3 min from the center of town and yet very quiet and peaceful around us.

I liked this apartment. It's on the outskirts of Altstätten, a nice, small town, with a picturesque center within walking distance. The apartment is in a quiet street, parking is available and I found the apartment lovely and spacious. There's a nice outside space and it has everthing you would need. The house was build at the end of the 19th century and several of the old details have been kept, which adds to the charm. The hosts were nice and informative and gave several good recommendations of things to do nearby. There was some negative points, but overall I did enjoy my stay here and the area is truly beautiful!
I know the house is in the middle of nature on the outskirts of the town, but I was rather surprised we shared the apartment with a mouse or mice. The first night, a noise woke me up and when I went to check out what it was, I saw a mouse in the kitchen. A little while later, I noticed the little bugger (or his pal) on the other side of the room. I've grown up on the outskirts of a town, in a house which wasn't the most modern and we definitely had mice living in the attick, but in the 20+ years that I've lived there, I've never seen a mouse in the living areas. So that was a bit of a shocker, albeit not that strange due to the location of the place. Also, two minor things. There's a dishwasher, I just couldn't find tablets to be used and in the description on booking.com it says there's a bath, which isn't there. That might be a translation error though!

The accommodation was amazing and beautiful! Located at the pictoresque countryside, fully equipped and very comfortable. The owner was hospitable and the communication was easy. We regret that we were there only one night. We can highly reccommend it!!!
