Our visit was a breath of fresh air truly feeding our souls. The Glengreen Retreat is an island onto itself and a short jaunt to the well-kept trials in the White Mountain of New Hampshire!! We look forward to booking this location the same time next year.

Incredibly spacious/gracious home and grounds (with unmatched morning views and architectural footprint and cozy comfort). This home more than surpassed our expectations, and was a big part of why our reunion here was so special and so successful. If I were to sum it up in a single word... that word would be "WOW!"

This was my family’s 3rd visit to Glengreen over the years. It’s been a few years so we were pleasantly surprised to see that they opened up a new master bedroom with an amazing view of the mountains. My children love the long driveway to ride their bikes down, the upstairs playroom, the new swingset, the large yard and the large open floor plan. They also love the new movie room. The parents love the wholesome activities we can enjoy together in the house and on the property. It’s easy to segregate movie time here and spend most of the time absorbed in other activities. We can’t wait to come back again! This is one of our favorite family getaways.

We absolutely love staying here. The view is breathtaking, the home is so clean and has everything you could need. We came two years ago and it’s even better now. The most beautiful master bedroom that overlooks the mountains. We already booked our stay for next year! They even had toys and an outdoor play set for my daughters and everything you could need to just relax and escape reality. We plan on renting this property every holiday season for years to come!

We rented the Glengreen retreat for a Fall getaway. Can't say enough about the house and property. Amazing views of the nearby mountains and lake. The house is large and allowed us to spread out but gather for meals and games. The kitchen was well equipped. Fireplace and Sonos stereo system made it feel like home. We based ourselves in Littleton which is a nice little town and spent time from touring from there.
We plan to return again next year. Don't hesitate to stay here. 5 stars.

Beautiful Property with Everything You Need
A group of 7-8 of us stayed for 10 days during January and were blown away by the beautiful views and spacious house. The house was well-stocked for an extended stay - all the kitchen supplies you need, abundant firewood, quite an impressive book selection, and much more. The check-in, check-out process was seamless and I cannot recommend this listing enough. 10/10.

Beautiful Hospitable Home
The photos do not do this property justice. The house was built with craftsmanship in mind and it was beautifully decorated. Everything was extremely clean and the land was maintained and cared for. The rooms were comfortable and there was much attention to detail. Amenities were provided such as bathroom toiletries, pantry items, garage bays and plenty of firewood. Beautiful views outside every window and privacy from neighbors. The back patio has a wonderful fire-pit area with views of the mountains and the reservoir. Everyone agreed we would love to stay here again. The experience far surpassed staying at a hotel.

Second Straight Year Staying
Again, we love this house: 1) Private 2) Beautiful view. Only gave 4 stars because 1) This year was very hot in Littleton and the lack of AC made sleeping uncomfortable, even with the fans, 2) Disappointed that the patio furniture was removed so we weren’t able to eat outside nor sit on the shady side of the house in the evening. Also additional chairs need to be provided to sit around the fire pit. Not everyone can sit on the stone bench.

Beautiful setting
The Good: very nicely designed home in a beautiful, natural setting. Views are truly breathtaking. The Not So Good: unorganized, not clean, cheap furniture, poor quality beds, broken oven, and broken home sound system. Overall, enjoyed our stay a lot, but spent some time upon arrival cleaning and the broken oven was a real problem as some of the food we brought could not be cooked.

May 2021 - AMAZING!
Saw a recent review this same month about the oven /stove top not working - was in perfect working condition for us! And we used it everyday! I rented Glengreen to just relax - mission accomplished! The home is beautiful and so very comfortable! The property is AMAZING! If not the mountain view - the yard and the lawn and the woods and the trails and the hidden horseshoe pit! LOVE LOVE the back patio and fire pit - amazing furniture! There is a TV - but who needs it! Everything I hoped for and more - was just hoping I saw more wildlife! Probably a good thing we didn't! I was happy with the polywogs and little fish in the ponds - so much fun!

The description of this property is very accurate. The views are stunning and the accommodations are amazing! We did have one service issue but we called and they responded promptly!
We are already trying to figure out when we can return! I would highly recommend this house to anyone that wants to get away and relax.

Amazing place...a few glitches with appliances
The whole house was amazing and the best view! Only downside was the broken oven, it continually beeped, we had to turn off the breaker which meant the stove top didn’t work when breaker was off. We emailed Vacasa and someone came out to look but the issue was not resolved. We definitely want to come back but hope the oven is fixed!

Clean, warm and everything you and your family needs. They should fix the lock on the door by the dining area though, still cant lock since last year. The rest we enjoyed it a lot. Thank you and see you next year.

Wow! What can we say about this wonderful home...if you love quality, beauty and a eclectic decor, in a spacious setting, this is the house for you. The views from the house never get old, mountains and water! You feel removed because of all the acreage around you, yet so close to downtown Littleton, a cute town with shops, restaurants and a great brewery. The location is so convenient to many hikes and sightseeing of the White mountains. Also conveniently close to Vermont! The house has every convenience you may want or need. However long you stay, you wish you had another day. The outdoor fire pit and the indoor fireplace are the icing on the cake. We had a wonderful time and look forward to our future visits to this home!

This place met all our needs. The views were amazing, especially while hanging out by the fire pit. The grounds with its trails and ponds were great for a walk. The house was very well appointed for whatever you needed. Will be going back with the rest of our family

A fabulous property!
The property is beautifully landscaped with views everywhere and several groomed paths, ponds, flowering / crab apple trees. The grounds are quite large with two comfortable patio, one facing S/W for sunsets over the mountains and reservoir, with a fire pit for cool evenings, and another patio with table and chairs facing the ponds, wildflowers, reeds and apple trees, stone walls, facing N/E for morning sun. The house is spacious inside with many sittings area, including a sunroom and quiet nooks for time alone. I was thrilled to have a piano to practice on (needs tuning!). The house is comfortable, elegant and extremely well equipped in all areas (kitchen, television loft, games). We all were speechless in appreciation throughout our stay!
