Superb stay at this beautiful villa (The Pines). Great location to the Shanklin old town and Chine. lovely friendly owners. Beautiful well kept property and grounds and we loved the swimming pool too.

There’s very little not to like. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and quickly resolved a small issue with the hot water supply. lovely to be welcomed by a bottle of fizz. My only small recommendations/comments might be to consider replacing the wardrobes to be full length ones as they are quite small. Also to consider expanding on a welcome pack, with some basic essentials- small milk and bread and butter perhaps

Located within easy walking distance of town /facilities. A steep walk down to the beach. Lots of pubs and tea rooms to enjoy. Lovely heated outdoor pool set in beautiful garden.

Excellent location made it easy to walk either up to Shanklin High Street or down to the promenade with various restaurants in both areas. Parking space available at the property. Kitchen was very well equipped for self catering.

The property was excellent, we had everything we needed for our stay

The only downside was we were unable to relax around the pool as we had a small dog. I totally appreciate the reason for this rule, example: dogs mess and maybe the risk of the dog jumping in the pool but it meant we could not relax in a comfortable environment. maybe worth think about allowing dog in to this area on a lead, just a suggestion.

extremely clean, rooms are really spacious with all the amenities one may require. each room gets a designated parking bay. location is right next to shanklin chine. owners are extremely welcoming.

would be nice to have a tv in the bedroom aswell as the living room but certainly not a deal breaker.

The apartments were impressive, clean and well equipped for everything we needed.

The apartment was warm on our arrival and table lights had been lit so it was very welcoming. The home was immaculate and the hosts have thought of everything in regards to what guests will need for their stay. The equipment for cooking eating and cleaning was of excellent quality, not just cheap items put there as a necessity. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

There really was nothing to fault in this accommodation, one exceptionally minor thing that crossed my mind while staying there was it would have been nice for there to be a couple of lower coat hooks that children could reach to hang their coats up, but hopefully that further expresses how perfect everything else was.

This was our third stay at Luccombe Villa and it's always wonderful to return to such a comfortable, well appointed, apartment. The Owners are very welcoming and on hand should you need anything. The location is quiet but not too far from Shanklin Chine, the sea, and some lovely restaurants. Highly recommended!

Someone in one of other nearby apartments had a dog which barked a lot especially late at night.

We were greeted by the lovely owner who was very friendly and helpful and showed us to “The Burrow.” The property was very cosy and perfect for two people. We loved the huge comfortable bed and very powerful shower! It was lovely to have a little outside space and we will return in better weather to make use of the beautiful pool in the guest garden. The apartment had everything we needed and was within a very short walk to Shanklin. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will certainly be back!
