we have stayed here a few times before and always receive a great welcome. Wendy is lovely and is an artist with the towels. Fantastic breakfast every day and a beautiful surroundings. Our room had a sea view as-well as looking out over the beautiful gardens. we love it here.

The room was far too small Kettle had to be boiled on floor bath moved when in it difficulty getting into room with key.Friends room dark and small . steps getting into bathroom not altogether safe for elderly couple.Key getting into room difficult. Tea and coffee available all the time a bonus.

A delightful atmosphere in a grand old stone house with superb sloping terraced garden, beautifully landscaped. Its location in Shanklin Old village, close to the sea and The Chine could not be better. Our room overlooking the garden was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent, superbly cooked and the staff most helpful and welcoming. The added gesture of prosecco for birthdays was a lovely touch.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with gluten-free and vegetarian choices. Lovely garden lit up in the evening so we could walk through to the seafront and Chine. 'Honesty box' in bar for late-night drinks!

Our double room was on the small side with two steps up to the ensuite so we kept the mirror light on all night to remind us of the steps directly behind the door! Our family had a larger double room with a seating-area for the same price. It didn't stop us enjoying our stay at The Grange for one night although it would have become a frustration if we'd stayed longer.

The breakfast was very good and served in an efficient and friendly way. The location was nice and quiet. The bedroom was of a good size and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We did not like the bathroom. The shower didn’t work properly the second morning, there were no hooks on the door and no glass in the glass holder.

I loved the garden and terrace. My room was small, but had everything I needed and was comfortable. Also a good location in the town. Close to beach. Staff friendly and helpful.
