Profitez de la vue à 270 degrés sur les montagnes Swannanoa et Craggy depuis cette belle maison de montagne à deux logements construite en 2007. Accès par route 100% pavée avec parking pour 4 voitures. Entrée privée et tous les espaces privés, parfaits pour les familles. Les clients ont accès à l'ensemble de l'unité inférieure. Toutes les chambres sont entièrement meublées. La chambre principale comprend un lit king-size et une salle de bains, la deuxième chambre comprend un lit queen-size et un lit double. Cuisine entièrement équipée et appareils bien approvisionnés avec presque tout ce dont on aurait besoin pour cuisiner / se divertir. Le salon et la salle à manger ont un concept ouvert: salle à manger pour 6 personnes, salon avec Dish Network / tv, wifi, canapé-lit queen-size, table à cartes, livres et jeux. La buanderie entièrement équipée comprend une laveuse et une sécheuse. Grand patio couvert pour profiter des magnifiques levers et couchers de soleil dans les vallées de la rivière Bee Tree et de la rivière Swannanoa. Idéal pour les grillades. Une allée pavée privée peut garer 4 véhicules.

Convenient for folks who are visiting, family or friends outside the Asheville area proper. Still convenient location to downtown Asheville. Comfortable living room. Well equipped to cover most people’s needs

Nice view off the front patio, great for us because we didn’t need to be in Asheville, but close enough if you need/want to go. Easy check in/out process. I guess technically it is a basement/ground floor apartment in a larger house, but doesn’t really feel like it. Spacious and lots of windows. Would stay again.

We spent 10 days here at this place, and we were pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness, the amenities, and the warmth of the location. It's a short drive to Asheville, and you get a nice view of the mountains. There is a hillside front yard that is fantastic for the kids--our kids ran out there almost every day, up and down the hill.
There are all kinds of amenities provided, and we really enjoyed the space. Kristian was kind enough to offer a bicycle when I asked for one. He was also very prompt to answer any questions I had.
The only quibble we have is that the description said something like you get the run of the house. What you actually get is the bottom floor. Now, each floor has its own entrance, and we never actually saw the hosts, but given the description and the pictures we thought it would be the whole house. What this also means is that we often heard footsteps above us, during the day and in the night. I myself didn't mind, but my wife is very sensitive to this kind of noise, especially if someone upstairs dropped something on the floor late at night.
All in all, I would recommend this place, I would go back, but I think it should be clear to anyone looking to stay here that you do not get the whole house, just the bottom floor (which is plenty spacious in itself).

Family emergency brought us to the area, but this place is nothing short of amazing. Hosts were wonderful and home was extremely clean! Informed us on everything we needed.

Awesome Retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains
I highly recommend this property to anyone needing some time away with fresh air and mountain views! The place was so clean and spacious (please know that this a basement rental, but you would never know it, except for the occasional pitter patter of footsteps as the owners do live above the property). The property felt very private as you have your own driveway and entrance. Just be aware that the driveway is steep and does take some maneuvering, but you get the hang of it quick! The kitchen is bigger in person than in the pictures and the place has a mixture of modern updates and a country vibe. I did love the fireplace as it helped make it feel cozy! The owners were very attentive and responsive! Overall, I highly recommend staying here. Thank you for making our family winter vacation that much better. Happy New Year!

Not as expected
I was not aware that the property owner would be staying above us the entire time. It was not very apparent in the description that we would only have the bottom half of the property nor that the owner would stay above during the time we had booked. So, I think that the description be changed to adjust this as well as alert guests. Other than that, the property was well kept. One thing I will also note was that it was hard to find ubers/lyfts into town after 6PM. Most drivers don't want to go that far which made it hard transporting back and forth.

Nice Getaway
We enjoyed our trip and the owners were very flexible in check in and check out. Bed was comfortable and amenities were accurate online. Since this is a basement rental, the owners live upstairs. When they are home, you can hear them walk above you.

Delightful Home!
We were three women in Asheville for a girls weekend. The house was great! It was relaxing & quiet (except when the owners were home - could hear them walking upstairs). Location was good - close to Asheville and hiking. I would certainly stay again.

All the rooms were spacious and comfortable for our four adults.
The view of the morning fog dissipating over the mountains from the front patio is spectacular - enjoyed best with a cup of coffee.

Indeed a Home away from home
So happy we stay at this place the owner was very kind and did everything for us to have an amazing soccer weekend just everything you need when you’re away from home. Nice place to stay.

Great Experience Overall
The experience was a delight overall. The home has amazing views and the parents of the homeowners were amazing. It is important to note that this property is shared and the owners live upstairs with the cutest little kiddos. Please be prepared for a very loud experience of the pitter patter of little feet. I didn't mind it because I have kids, but if you are looking for a quiet romantic getaway, it is important to note that the owners are upstairs with little ones and you are able to hear most of the steps upstairs.
Also, in the winter, I hear that NC has a lot of ladybugs in the house - I was not prepared for that at all...it wasn't 1 or 2...by every window there was 10 or 20 when you wake up, some in the bathrooms and some on the floor (so walking barefooted in the house is totally fine but be prepared for a couple of those being part of your foot apparel. :)
Overall - I would stay here again in a moment...the place is organized and great...and the view is fantastic....the only thing that freaked me out were all the ladybugs.

Great time in the mountains
Beautiful property and very clean, comfortable home. Owners were very helpful and accommodating. Home was well furnished and kitchen was amply supplied. Beautiful fall colors and lots of fun things to do in the area.

Great experience
The house is beautiful, perfectly clean and it shows that Kris and Liz put lot of attention to the decoration and details such as labeling cabinets and drawers, providing books and maps of the area, guidelines and instructions, etc. The location is superb: on top of a hill with a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the surrounding trees, ample space around the house in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood.
Kris has been very helpful with some special accommodation request involving a trailer, motorcycle, early check-in, etc which I really appreciate.
In summary, a great vacation experience overall that I hope I could repeat in the future !

Sweet Swannanoa
Clean, well-appointed property with a nice sweeping view of the surrounding area. Lots of extra touches that made it welcoming and user-friendly. Linens were plush; beds were nice; kitchen stocked with appliances.

Nice basement, mother-in-law suite, limited views. Not quite what we hoped for.
The "house" is actually the basement of the owners house. It is set up and furnished very nicely. Mostly private - you can hear the owners upstairs. Difficult driveway experience due to a very tight turn required to get into the downstairs driveway. And the view from the property has houses and telephone lines in the bottom 50% of the view.

Lovely and spacious accommodation, breathtaking view
My family and I were visiting my son at Warren Wilson which is less than a mile away! This wonderful, well accoutered mountain home filled my soul! My too short visit included waking early each cool morning to watch the mist rise over the mountains & staying up late to meet the millions of twinkling stars. Can’t wait to come back!! Thanks for offering such an oasis ❤️
