Nice staff, was sensitive to our requests. Great location. Nice, renovated building. Good breakfast, not too many choices but it was good and the important things were there.

Not all rooms have windows.

Excellent location and extremely comfortable and stylish.

The location is great close to Lastaria etc. The room and bed are comfy.

While the view from the room was good (on the museum and the park), the road was rather noisy. The breakfast was quite good for a couple of days but somewhat boring if you stay for a week as I did. There was a Nespresso coffee machine but no free capsules. Instead they sold these at the extortionate price of 2000 pesos (nearly 2 pound sterling) per capsule!

We liked the location and the hotel style.

The bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious. Breakfast was delicious and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Rooms that face the front, particularly our double suite, experience noise from sirens, trucks and motorcycles that can be jarring, particularly when it wakes you up. Walking on the floor with bare feet result in bottoms of feet becoming black.

Great Location in a very central position, near Plaza de Armas and the Lastarria district. There are many prominent museums in the area and the Lastarria district has a nice vibe, interesting character and many restaurants. The kitchen prepared a breakfast box for us (sandwich, apple, fruit juice) which allowed us to leave at 4.30 am without getting hungry. Magdalena on the front desk spoke fluent English and was also very helpful

Our room faced inwards onto a courtyard. Sound from surrounding apartments and hotels travelled widely and it was difficult to sleep before midnight when the noise strafed to subside. Rooms are a bit dark and the paint on the ceiling was cracked and peeling. The bar fridge didn't work

I have stayed in the Hotel 4 years ago and thought it was it great. Good location and great value for money. Not so this time.

The Hotel has not been kept care of and is no longer at the level it was previously. They have obviously had major plumbing issues in the Hotel with water damage in a lot of areas. My room had peeling paint, bent woodwork, tiles in the bathroom which were cracked and also moved... when attempted to be fixed at some point were done so with a brown adhesive. Desk was hanging off wall and at an angle so you couldn't use it. Shame as the staff and public areas are great and the room sizes are really big. NB. Has an espresso machine in the room but no coffee or tea... you have to buy it separately at the front desk... so odd - I have stayed in $20 hostels and you get a cup of coffee...

The street was a bit noisy, and when we opened the balcony doors there were quite a number of flies- not much the hotel could do about that.

The service was excellent! We arrived early and out room was not ready yet and they provided us free breakfast. The location was very good as well, few minutes to get to cool neighborhoods, etc.

Breakfast too basic

Central location and the staff of the Hotel Altiplanico Bellas Artes were always helpful in Spanish or English. Breakfast included was also excellent. Recommend a visit to the Bellas Artes Museum across the street, along with a walk in the park. The hotel staff can make suggestions as well but the Bocanáriz de Chile Restaurant in nearby Lastarria is very good. If you want a full but very fine meal, their pairing menu of starter, main, desert and coffee/tea served with a variety of excellent paired Chilean wines, is good value

The bedroom was spacious and comfortable

The staff, specially the ones that serve de breakfast, they’re very unfriendly, look like police watching after your food and curse or grab you from the arm when they want something !! Amazing behaviour.

My room had view to the street and the window did not cancel the sound.

upon arrival we could only pay in Chilean peso’s, this meant that in usd terms our stay got 15% more expensive than stated in the booking app. pretty bad. and also, the breakfast was ok but compared to other hotels rather basic.
