Such beautiful views! It was very relaxing sitting outside at the table. Quiet location. Short walk to centre of town.

Property clean and comfortable. Location away from the main town centre so quiet and peaceful. Owner always helpful even to the point of offering a lift back to the station on departure, which was not expected but most welcome.

Kitchen haa everything you need. Loved having a high chair and travel cot available for our toddler.
The location is at the bottom of a steep hill from the centre area which is not bad on the way to the apartment but when you're leaving with your bags it will be a bit of a workout.

We really love our stay here.
The view is incredible - direct view to the mountains from the living room/kitchen area.
The whole area is very well heated. We enjoy staying in and just reading and enjoying the view from the living room/kitchen area.
Location is perfect for us. Quiet, beautiful view, yet still relatively near to the center. The walk to the center will be uphill, the walk from the center will be downhill. We love every walk, sometimes taking different routes.
It's near to the river and jogging track, too. We love our walks exploring the area.
Toilet has bidets, for which we are very grateful.

A very nice apartment in a quite location. Kitchen with extensive equipment does allow for some actual cooking. Has the first japanese-style toilet I saw since not living in Japan anymore 😀

The location of this chalet was absolutely perfect for us (most useful if you have a hire car), as the scenery was stunning (north face of the Eiger right in front of you), peaceful and quiet.
The chalet was so well equipped, probably the most equipped self-catering place I've ever stayed in. I was very happy to see a proper cooker, oven/grill, microwave, oil, dishwashing liquid, and full sets of cutlery, crockery and other kitchen utensils.
Bed was super comfortable. House was warm. Shower was perfect.

The property was in a great, quiet location with unparalleled views. It included a guest card which provided free access to the city bus and discounts on several other attractions. The owner was incredibly helpful and nice.
The property is at the bottom of a pretty good hill. Not a negative but something to note. The free bus was easily accessible but only comes once per hour.

I enjoyed my stay at Locherboden very much. The location is perfect, with excellent access to Grindelwald itself, but away from the main street so it is lovely and peaceful. Plus, it is amazing to walk out the front door every morning and see the Eiger right in front of you. Talk about spectacular!
The apartment itself has everything you could want. A well-equipped kitchen, a very comfortable bed and a lovely shower and bathroom. If arriving by car there is ample free parking which is so convenient.
Nadja is very helpful and is always close by to answer any queries.
