extreme noise from buildingsite. Did not get the villa we booked so ended up with rive field views which is pretty but we booked jungle views, and extreme building noise. It was not relaxing at all due to the noise, arrived after 23 hours of travelling and couldn’t be bothered to start searching for another place to stay. I am very dissapointed ad this should be our reating place after the long flights we were on.

Amazing property, private pool was the best thing after a day out! Staff couldn’t have been better really made it special and they do the best cocktails hands down

Property has good amenities, private pool and large bathroom, beds are quite hard but had a good sleep and air condition was perfect

It felt very homely, of our 6 night stay we spent 2 whole days/nights just at the villa relaxing, we really settled in and didn’t want to leave! The breakfast was very generous and tasty, and was ALWAYS delivered to our room EXACTLY on time when requested. We asked for 8am and it arrived spot on every morning.

While the weather was perfect and hot, sometimes the pool still felt a little too cold to swim. I managed to use it everyday, but my partner only used it once due to the water feeling cold. This is not really a criticism though - some villas may have pools that spend more time under the full sun and may be fine.

The staff were lovely, very responsive on Whatsapp and checked in with us every day. The buggy service was efficient. The villa was well presented and serviced every day, we enjoyed the outdoor bathroom including the beautiful stone bath and pool area. The shower was hot and strong except for the last day.

Pool was very cold, not heated so harder to enjoy, no additonal blankets for cooler nights, bathroom had an odour after hours like a sewerge pump had been turned off, power points and lamp in villa did not work, nowhere to store bags in room (wardrobe not in a convenient location) which made it difficult to keep things tidy and in order, t.v. sits over entrance door, I smacked my head at least three times on the corner, bedside tables are made of weird material that small items fall through. We had a welcome massage and afternoon tea included in our room price but forgot about this, staff did not offer. We did not get the massage and only recieved afternoon tea on our last day. Our villa (villa one) was quite noisy, we were located just above reception at the front of the propery and the constant sound of scooters, motorbikes and ppl talking and laughing was not great. We paid about $200 per night for our room (6 night stay), overall my impression was that this was average value. The hotel wants to be 4 stars but I would suggest more like 3-4 based on our experience.

We had a very relaxing 5 nights at Temuku villas. The villas are lovely, well appointed and very private although I would lean towards a jungle view for compete privacy. The staff are fantastic and very accommodating. While down a narrow lane way there is a buggy service although it’s only a 5 min walk to the main road from the villas. We really enjoyed the rice paddy walks and a number of restaurants along the way which were all really good. Highly recommend Temuku Villas and we will be back.
