We had 4 couples and the house was perfect for us. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the long weekend. Location was perfect as it was quiet and away from the downtown Chelan area.

5 stars for the location and inside cleanliness. Wapato is an amazing resort and our multi generation family loved staying here. House was clean on inside. The downstairs bed lay out looked different than the photos. Currently there are two double beds, two bunk beds and one pull out. Plenty of room for all the kids and teens. Some Improvements are needed considering the price of the rental property. Outside of property was not clean, including bird droppings all around, spider webs, cigarette butt in the yard. Outside tables were not cleaned. The BBQ was not heating properly. The rental company came to fix it, but it was not properly fixed and never fully heated. Luckily we had other family staying in another house in Wapato and we were able to take steaks there to cook! Rental company helped with cleaning out a bird nest putting up the outside sunshades but did not notice the dead bird that they dislodged. My sister discovered it and had to deal with it. The pool table felt was ripped which made it hard to use. Overall, it was a great stay but I was disappointed with some of the problems considering the high price for the summer rental.

Overall, it’s a great, spacious home with activities for all ages. We brought a boat with all of boating equipment and bicycles but learned we did not have access into the garage. This made safe storage for valuables very difficult.

We had a nice time staying at Wapato point. We hadn’t been in about 10 years. The home is closer to the water than I expected so the deck view was a highlight. The home’s location is great for walking stuff down to the beach which we did most days. The a/c was awesome and the basement for the teen hangout was even cooler. Great comfy and large couches for a big group.

I haven’t been to heaven yet, but I’ve been to heaven at Wapato point and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was peaceful and relaxing and every need was anticipated. The home is clean, warm and exceptionally comfortable.

This is our second time staying in this house and we came back because we love the flow of it. This time we stayed for 2 weeks with friends. Our teenage kids are able to have their downstairs space and the adults have plenty of room upstairs with 4 bedrooms and nice big spaces. We are longtime Wapato Point travelers, normally staying in the condos. Wapato has everything for everyone. Chelan is our home away from home. This house has everything you will need, it is close to beaches, pools and docks. It fits a large group comfortably. The outdoor lounge spaces are great. We will be back.

The house was exactly as advertised and with a well stocked kitchen. Having a secondary living room space in the basement was perfect for our multi generational family vacation. There was a lot to do at Wapato Point and the house was walkable to pool and beach.

Greatest critique is it would be so nice to have a little FAQ booklet on property with instructions on use of things like fireplace etc Communication with host, Vacasa, was ultimately adequate but not great so a propertt instruction booklet would be useful for questions that come up.

Great main floor with large tv room and a comfy L-shape couch. Kitchen is really functional with views of the lake. Love the large kitchen table as well as the huge deck with 2 tables.

Unfortunately I can not give the home the positive review you are looking for. We were very disappointed with the lack of housekeeping the home had received before our arrival. I have been renting properties through VRBO for years. Never have the properties lacked the basic essentials like this home did. 1. There were three bath towels and three hand towels -- for a five bedroom home and a confirmed guest count of 10. We had to go to Walmart to purchase towels. 2. The white bath rug in the master bath was filthy. Bath rugs were missing from the other bathrooms. 3. All of the hand soap containers were nearly empty. We had to purchase hand soap -- in the time of Covid? 4. There was not one extra roll of toilet paper in any of the bathrooms -- again we had to purchase. 5. There was a loose floor board on one of the steps leading to the family room. We had to purchase painters tape to secure it so no one would trip. 6. There was a random piece of landscape log and a child's scooter laying in the yard. 7. There was practically no propane in the BBQ. The BBQ had not been cleaned in quite some time and barely registered over 300 degrees. 8. There was no owners book giving information about the house and check out expectations. 9. The garbage bins were full -- there had been no garbage pickup between renters. We stomped it down as much as we could but finally got to a point where that would not work. I had to call the local Vacasa on Tuesday, he said he would send someone out, no one came. Wednesday I called again, finally on Thursday after two more calls and texts someone came and took a few bags from the trash bins. 10. At one point all of the bathroom plug ins stopped working. Because we had no access to the garage we could not flip the circuit breaker. Several calls with the local Vacasa rep before we were told where the spare key to the garage was hidden so we could flip the breaker. One of two of some of the above could be brushed off, but this is over the top. One of the neighbors who lives at Wapato year round indicated these were on going problems. The one plus I will give is that the house is spacious enough for a large group. There was lovely view of the lake from the oversized deck and a nice shady backyard.

We had a large family vacation at the house. Our group was 11 adults, 5 children and one toddler. First, the house is a really nice size and fit our group perfectly. There are beds for 18 people and that’s not including a pull out couch. The location on the point is great, it’s a short walk to the pool or lake and we had plenty of parking space for multiple vehicles. Unfortunately, we arrived and found the house to be kind of dirty, which was really surprising in the time of COVID. Multiple dishes had been put away dirty, the floors were not well swept. A toddler is the best way to find things on the floor, within minutes he found old cereal under the couch. I was down on the floor to plug in my charging cords under the bed, again not clean, many large dust bunnies. Bed time came and the kids found crumbs in the bunk bed sheets. After spending thousands of dollars for a house rental, I was quite disappointed with having to strip beds and wash sheets and move furniture to vacuum! One of the queen beds didn’t have a bottom sheet and even with four bathrooms, we had maybe 10 bath towels. Many of us used our beach towels for our showers. I called twice to request a set of sheets and a few more towels, the people on the phone were very pleasant, but we never received anything else. Another strange thing was that there was no book telling you about the house rules. We were unaware that beach towels weren’t supposed to be hung on the deck railings. Not a big deal, but kind of embarrassing having a visit from security. They were very pleasant and we quickly removed the towels. Overall, the house is a bit quirky, doors that stick, a missing stair tread, etc..., but after quite a bit of cleaning is very nice. Our family had a great summer vacation. In short, we liked the house and location, but feel like the management company dropped the ball when it came to cleaning and the request for extra linens.
