great location, fabulous view , lovely big apartment

The apartment was clean and spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped with all utensils that could possibly be needed. The towels provided were very large and fluffy. Our apartment was on the top floor. The view from the front balcony was amazing. Across the street there was a park, and then the sea, with a curved seawall with a lighthouse at the end. It was very dramatic to hear the waves crashing against the seawall.
The host had obviously given a lot of thought to what their guests might need. One tiny point: the apartment has two bathrooms but there was only a toilet roll in one of them. It wasn't a problem, as we went straight out to do food shopping after we checked in, and put toilet rolls on our shopping list.

at a cost of £100 and upwards per night I’d at least expect the kitchenware to be cleaned properly upon arrival. used this property many times before and I have to say the sofa beds inside the top flat have exceeded there best condition extremely uncomfortable and was unable to sleep because of it.

the location was great being next to the park with a young child made our stay fun. the look and feel of the apartment was fabulous throughout, had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. lovely and spacious living area for our little one to play. we will definitely be returning in the future
in the on-suit there was an unpleasant smell throughout our stay.
would have liked to have a hoover to be able to clean around also to know where they bin area is

The apartment is lovely, but the house keeping is awful..
We stayed for 3 nights the apartment is lovely and location good. But the house keeping was awful the oven and all kitchen stuff needed a good clean and I mean a deep clean, I did take photos of the awful house keeping.. there was a awful smell coming from the shower room nothing to do with the house keeping, it was a drain smell and made you feel sick. Bedding and towels are poor condition.

Location, close to beach. feels like home as we stay there often. It has everything we need to cook and enjoy the flat
Shower/ toilet _ something wrong as when you flush the toilet it always gives out a small of sewage? we have reported it and hope it is simple. Maybe shower needs more cleaning ??

The location is perfect for a stay at the beach, especially with very hot weather. From the South Shields Metro station there is also a convenient connection to the city.
Although we stated we needed bedsheets for the sofa bed, they were not supported. Also, the cleanliness of the whole flat is not as it should be.

The view was lovely , the beds were comfortable
there was a long dead spider in my glass when i went to drink out of it it was see through so it had definitely been there a while

In a prime position easy walking distance for all amenities South Shields has to offer. Not to mention the great view from the balcony.
We stayed for one night so only had cups & glasses to wash up. No liquid to hand wash and seemed silly to use the dishwasher. J cloths would've come in useful too.

The location was great for kids park outside flat and close to beach and entertainment park.
It was really not clean, I had marks on my pillow so had to swap for one off another bed, the dishes had chinese in the filter from the last people i had to clean it, the cutlery was manky I had to rewash the cutlery. The bedside table had sticky stuff in the drawers had to clean them. Pillows were uncomfortable. The apartment is lovely could really could have had a better clean.

Lovely, tidy apartment within walking distance of the town. Beautiful views over the park and sea. Perfect space for our family of 5.
No sheets to use on the sofa bed.

The property is great and is clean, the kitchen has all utensils. The only problem was that the drains from the shower , basin and bath all had gone stagnant and really smelt awful . We had to clean all the drain areas which made it fine and good smelling. Maybe the cleaners should put some cleaner down the drains and wash it out before leaving.
