Good enough for a quick visit... some nice restaurants nearby.

A place to sleep

I booket a room with balcony. Complete Lie. No balcony, No dublebed. The receptionist was really unpolite. When I try to talk with him, "No speak English" But when he talk in phone with someone, English No problem.. I complain, want my money back!!!

I love the funky vibe! It has loads of character and a comfortable stay for a night between ferries. Super cafe just around the corner and quick walk to metro.

Shared bathroom… but it was only for one night, so it didn’t really matter, it was so close to our ferry, that it took as 4 min on foot :) And it was hot, no air conditioning

This is very unique place to stay and for those who really knows value of historical places /buildings will appreciate it is extra ordinary retro style. It is something you will not see nowadays! The administration is very helpful and good. Rooms and bedsheets are very clean and location is perfect. I would not mind to stay over again.

To be honest, it is a very old and creepy hotel. Problem is they charged 40€ because of high season, for a hotel that has less than 1 star, in Greece. Should be 20e at max. And I am being generous. Yes, it has a bed, yes, it has a shower... but oh my god... i've slept in better places for much much cheaper in 3rd world countries. When we arrived around 23.00 a man was leaving after beeing in a room watching TV with the owner/recepcionist (I'm not sure who he was). The man in question looked like a serial killer mixed with a homeless... My wife grabbed my arm as soon as he saw him coming past us... The smell was... well, disgusting. The views from our window transported us back to WW2... The toilet cabinet literally fell apart when we tried to open it... Water and gas pipes behind the bed (outside the wall) that made noise all night at no more than 10cm from our heads... The recepcionist / owner, not really sure who he was, was nice all around, no complaint about that though. Oh, and no Aircon at all, just a noisy fan... (Didn't sleep much due to many facts, but one was hot room temperature. There was a little fridge (wich is a nice thing) but it was still full from the last guest, opened water and coke bottles... and open packege of food of some sort, and dirty as hell. Oh, and the door... A large old door that was quite nice looking, vintage, but that didn't lock safely enough, if you pushed too hard you could open it even with the key turned inside! Didn't feel safe all night to be honest. I could go on, and on, but i'm sure you get the idea by now. Overall: If you need a bed near the Piraeus port (after a long ferry ride) try to avoid this hotel at this rate (40€) as you will sleep for a bit more in a much better, safer and cleaner place.

Really nice staff and a cool hotel with an interesting history that the staff were very happy to tell me about. They made me feel very welcome. Location was also useful for an early ferry.

A bit noisy outside and only one shared bathroom (one female and one male) but for the location and price this is understandable but maybe would be a bit annoying for a longer stay. For what I needed it was good though. :)

good location if you need to catch a ferry. It's very close to the port of Piraeus

private bathroom was outside the room, next to the shared ones. I have to trust no one else had the key. The shower and toilet were in a poor state and water leaked to the floor.

Value for money for a short stopover in Piraeus but of course the room was very hot without air con. The location was great - near the metro and the port. We liked that we all had our own beds which was one of our reasons for choosing this quadruple room. Read the fascinating history of the place when you get there.

The heat in the room although we had a good fan. Street, pigeons and luggage wheels noises wake you up as well as the heat but all part of the fun.
