Tucked away in a perfect little corner of Amiens, this house had everything we needed to accommodate a group of 6 adult friends. The facilities were excellent, and the boat and canoe were great fun. It is not too far to walk to and from the city on a nice day or it can be cycled in 10-15 minutes. Hubert was a friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely tranquil setting with a warm and welcoming host (boat on site which you can use). Well located and a good path along the canal to walk or cycle to the city centre. Modern facilities and safe and secure location

The petite maison is closest to the road which was quite noisy. It is a small space so harder to cool down even with some windows open. Great for couples, less so for families as all open plan.

Very spacious, clean, we had bikes at our disposal (including a baby bike seat- thank you, Hubert!) and a boat.

Beautiful property surrounded by greenery and waterways. Our group of 3 adults and a toddler stayed in the Atelier separate house which was well equipped and very cozy. Excellent weekend stay!

The breakfast with a bowl of fresh it up fruit and a fresh baguette was wonderful - The site ; the garden , the landscaping , were unique and truly beautiful !!!

We stayed in the Atelier - We were perfectly fine since we are three fit adults - Just a detail - the description might need to say 1 bedroom and a loft with a steep ladder/staircase , so people know what to expect - We would definitely stay here again ; it is truly a gem !!!

Access to Amiens central via a walking track/bikeway (3km) wonderful gardens, canoeing in the Somme

The house was beautiful and each double room unique. It was a lovely place to stay and the owner was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed using the boat and the canoe too.

I didn't realise that the garden was a communal one, but we did enjoy the space and the BBQ.

We stayed in the “Petite Maison” as a family and it was lovely. Really well equipped kitchenette. Comfy bed for us upstairs and comfy sofa bed for our 10 yr old and 4 year old. It was spotlessly clean and lovely modern decor. The shower was also great. The garden and ducks were a hit and a really nice space. It’s about a 45 min walk to Amiens centre but it’s a lovely bike ride along the canal. The bikes available to use are brilliant and lots of different sizes. We also had fun on the boat exploring. The cathedral in Amiens is a must see, it’s stunning and there’s a light show at 10pm in summer, and we also enjoyed the Festival of Jardin. The parc Saint Pierre had lots of activities temporarily set up, including climbing, splash park and Minh golf. Hubert was so friendly and welcoming and very helpful. He was the perfect host.

The location is wonderful - you are right at the water's edge in the hortillonages. Anywhere in downtown Amiens is easily reachable by the complimentary bikes and you can discover the hortillonages in a canoe which is parked right outside your front door.

The room description says you get two bedrooms. This is not true. There is one bedroom. The other three "beds" (actually armchairs that unfold into beds) are located in an area above the staircase. It is not a room as such. Don't take the "2-bedroom house" if you are travelling with someone you are not very close with. It's good for families, not for colleagues. The layout of the property also works better for short leisure stays rather than longer stays when travelling on business.

Excellent location for us, not too far from Amien's centre and in the hortillonnages for a quieter stay. Hubert was very welcoming, we really enjoyed the access to the boats and the garden, our children also enjoyed seeing the pony. The house had everything we needed, clean and comfortable bed as well (not for very young children with the staircase).

Everything was great!

The unlimited use of bicycles, canoe and boat. The little pony "Pearl" was a nice attraction for kids. The free parking just in front of the house. The hospitable and eager house owner.

The poor wifi signal. There was no TV signal.

We book all three houses for this property, each house decoration are just amazing, all our friends really enjoy their stay, lovely environment, a cute pony sometimes walking around, so easy to walk to the town and it’s not far! If you have any request you can have promptly reply from owner, we have such a great time here, and I would definitely recommend my friends to choose this property next time if they come to Amiens!

The grounds are lovely.

The apartment had the bedroom on the first floor but access is via a very steep set of stairs more appropriately described as a ladder. I would not recommend this apartment to guests over 60 and no one unless you are physically OK. The bathroom also only has a shower over the bath and it is step up to enter.
