The location was excellent. Communication with the owner was great

The decor is a bot dated and furnishings were tired. Could do with new bedding and towels. But it was spotlessly clean

Very nice and spacious apartment at a great location just 2 minutes from the waterfront at Xlendi Bay. We really liked how close we were to the beach and to the swimming and jumping places in the bay. The apartment is well furnished for short-term stays. Also great communication with George who promptly responded to any questions we had about our stay. What is also an advantage is that the apartment is in shade in the afternoon therefore not so hot in the evening and at night. We also liked it was quiet as it is the only apartment in the house, no noisy neighbours - great !

One of the bedrooms is walk-through and does not have doors to separate it from the kitchen area which was fine with our kids - but others who need more privacy may have an issue with this. Also there is no window in this bedroom making it rather dark, the only sourse of light being from a ceiling shaft. Wifi only works in the bedrooms and does not reach the kitchen area, it may need an upgrade. The fans in the rooms are quite noisy, fortunately we did not need to have them on during the night.

It is a fair sized flat with all the necessaries at hand .Very well kept and clean. The communication with the land lord was excellent offering us any support we needed.I highly recommend the place. It was a well deserved holiday stay.

There is nothing I did not like I was easy felt at home

The flat is very close to the harbour and the dive centre and the ice cream parlour, that is very convenient. We are not sure about the value for money, Xlendi used to be a lot cheaper only three years ago.

There was a photo on the website which showed a limited sea view from a balcony. Sky this was not the view we "enjoyed" from our balcony. The might have been some information about this in the text but people notice photos much more and it certainly raised expectation that were not filled. Another aspect which is not ideal is the bedroom situation. You have to walk through one bedroom to enter the other or to access the balcony or the bathroom. Again this might have been mentioned in the small print but a floor plan is much clearer. The furniture was partly okay, the beds, wardrobes and mattresses were good whereas the kitchen looked very old in contrast but a real turn down was the musty smell in all the cupboards and wardrobes and the flat in general. You feel that you need to wash everything even if you have not worn it once. There are lots of different noises so be prepared to be woken up very early by crowing roosters and building activities.

Great host, very helpful. Large clean apartment. Would love to come back.
