Location was nice. Easy to get to by bus. Did the job for our purposes.

The host was rude to us via messenger before our stay and charged extra (250 SEK) for towels on top of the 1000 SEK linens fee. The shower was ice cold even when no one had used the bathroom in a long time. Lots of bugs inside. And the host watched us for a long time from next door.

Location & Cabin * It was a nice cabin at a great location. * The space was adequate for 6 people. * It was clean and had the amenities one would expect. * Both the terrace and the jetty have sun all day.

Service is so-so * You can rent a boat. However, you need to go into the forest and get it yourself and then putting it to sea. We were expecting the owner to arrange that. Make sure to book the boat before you arrive and maybe it will be prepared. * We had a wasp nest on the terrace. It should have been removed when we reported it. * Mices in the cabin, so make sure to not have any kind of food on floor level. Child friendliness * The terrace has no fence, and the fall height is probably 1.5 meters. * LOTS of ticks in the garden! We all got ticks (adults and kids) just by walking 20m to the jetty, so make sure to wear something on your feets, and don't allow your kids to crawl around in the grass. This limits the ability for the children to move freely except inside the cabin. These things combined diminishes the overall experience.

The place is very nice and quiet located right on the shore of a sea bay. Beautiful view, and nature around - pines and stones. The red and white cottage is quite nice and cozy. It's really like a large Scandinavian camping cabin. The host Denny who lives in the house next to the rental cottages was polite and friendly. We had problems with electricity and heating and couldn't stay in our cottage he let us move into a much newer and warmer one (sea view myttinge) and it was best days of our trip. I strongly recommend this one. Thanks, Denny!

(I personally wouldn't recommend this cottage for people with infants and small children in cold weather) We were with our 11-month-old son. We couldn't turn up all the heaters because of risk of power outage and though the air in the house was warm eventually the floor was still very cold. Though it's cozy and has it's "fishermans cabin" charms, the cottage needs some maintenance.
