Location is very good Facilities spacious enough, minifridge in the room

Very noisy rooms, you can hear the neighbor walk around, go to the bathroom, burp,.. Close above a bar with loud music (till 22.30u) Found a death cockroach in the room upon arrival. Place not easy to find, no signs, not even name on the cabins, instructions not sufficient enough if you just arrive at Calheta for the first time

Sadly the lack of facilities in the room for cooking so be prepared for and rooms bedding wasn't changed

No windows in the room, it was a point that was difficult to breathe

There was no knife, forks and knives, hair dryer (later brought when we asked).

I loved the aparentemente. Very spacious. Comfortable beds. Brilliant view to the marina. Plenty restaurantes near by, supermarket. Etc. Will definately come back . Staff very helpful.. 5 stars... thank you Marina rooms.😘😘

Location: close to beach, Pingo Doce Supermarket, close to main road. Plenty of street parking in the evenings. Very quiet at night. Air conditioning Marina view balcony with table and chairs. Very friendly staff Very good communication with staff.

No cooking facilities available, not even communal. No laundry facilities not even communal. Not easy to find initially. No designed parking

The location, you have the restaurants and also supermaket very close, the best beach from the island is just there.

I can t say I did nt like, but is a place for few days , relax, not a properly vacation.

It was good value for money, the best location for our purposes as we came for the fishing and the room was right on the Marina, and there are some lovely restaurants there also. Will be hoping to stay there again when we visit next time.

Nothing, It was a basic room with none of the frills that you would pay more for. It was clean and tidy and had a balcony with a great view overlooking the Marina ,we didn't want for anything more.

The Marina Rooms are in a perfect location on the Marina itself situated above the restaurants. Communication with Jaime prior to our arrival was excellent and as we were arriving out of hours for the check-in the key for our room was left out safe for us, very easy and stress free. Reception is on the Marina next door to Fish Point and has a sign saying Reception Porto Recreio Da Calheta. This is at ground level passed the restaurants, the rooms are above up the stairs. The rooms are basic but very very clean with air con, TV, fridge, spotless private bathroom (en-suite) and a balcony with a table and two chairs. We also had a kettle, bottle of water, 2 glasses and a first aid box in our room. The balcony can also be accessed by people wanting to walk along but we were in room 49 at the furthest end so we saw very few people. They cannot see inside your room as there are blinds and a covering over the windows. The Supermarket is a 5 minute easy walk so you can easily get more toilet rolls, breakfast items etc to put in the fridge if you wish too. The housekeeping staff were lovely, towels etc were changed as we desired. We would stay here again and would recommend it. It’s not a hotel so you won’t get tea and coffee, toilet rolls replaced etc… but you will get a spotless room, fantastic views and an easy walk to restaurants/shops/beach etc. There was no WiFi but we were able to use our 4G at no extra cost and the restaurants have WiFi if required. We have visited Calheta many times so this time we didn’t hire a car, however if you want to get around the island a car is essential. We used a taxi to get two and from the airport. The area is quiet but you can hear if neighbours arrive next door as the floors are all wooden, at nighttime however it is extremely quiet.

The only recommendation is to maybe provide 2 mugs with the kettle and also a spoon. That’s the only suggestion.

Clean and modern rooms, good location.

The location of the accommodation is really excellent and all the information matches the description. Rooms clean, terrace in front of the room, facing south and west. All necessities within walking distance. Parking on the way along the rocks without any problems. Unbeatable price / quality ratio in my term

From the gem designation separates the following: -the whole front of the room is glazed, covered with internal electric shutters. -the terrace in front of the entrance is common to all rooms and accessible to the public - it would be good to work on more privacy. -It is not clear where it is possible to get the keys - it is a common reception directly on the promenade (photo attached)
