We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Mot Mot. The property was clean and comfortable for the entire family. Andres was welcoming, friendly and helpful. He always responded quickly to our many questions. The best part of this location, by far, was all the wildlife right off the back porch. We saw 3 different types of monkeys, a sloth (which sat in a tree for 3 full days), and a variety of iguanas and birds. The monkeys came right up to the house and were truly a sight to behold. The property is within walking distance to everything in Quepos. Quepos is not very touristy, which we preferred. It was quite hot during our stay, so having the air conditioning at night was wonderful. We did not rent a car and got around quite easily via taxi and transportation provided with the various activities. Highly recommend!

My family really enjoyed our stay at Villa MotMot! The house was exactly as described and very spacious. AC was wonderful and we also really enjoyed the pool. We loved watching the monkeys in the trees every day of our stay. As noted by previous visitors the driveway is steep, but manageable. The property managers for Manuel Antonio Estates were very helpful during our stay with questions and assistance getting a taxi. The house and neighborhood feels very safe, but always lock your valuables up when you are out. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed every minute and everything was just as advertised! The concierge was a great bonus, and we chatted with them daily for suggestions and with questions. Great place, perfect location - wonderful stay from beginning to end.

Great location to access the area. Right in the middle of everything. Loved being nestled in a dense forest, seeing monkeys and numerous birds. Favorite moment was sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool listening to the driving thunderstorms and smelling the wet forest and fresh rain!

Incredible home. We walked in to find a large bowl of fresh fruit and a giant vase with thr most beautiful flowers. The pool Is the perfect temp, and the back patio is just wonderful. The rainforest comes alive at night with so many sounds. Loved this place. The only MINOR drawback is the steep hill. You don’t need a 4WD to get up there but turning the car around to leave is a bit tricky. My advice is to park once and cab it while there. It’s very inexpensive.

We had a wonderful stay in the Mot Mot villa! Andres & Dorit were so helpful!! We can’t say enough how much we appreciated all of there assistance. The house was great. Clean and comfortable. Just amazing to be able to watch monkeys swing through the trees behind your home!

The process to rent the home was simple and the property manager was very easy to talk to. This home was very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable! We came from another VRBO that had very low-end beds that gave us horrible backaches. It was a relief to sleep in this hime for the end of our Costa Rica trip.

Beautiful location, big house and well kept, close to town, amazing views, lots of groceries stores, restaurants, nature all around, beaches just minutes away, etc, etc

This house is perfect. There are beautiful beaches and waterfalls close the house. Although, you won't want to go out of the house cuz this has everything into it

This was a well appointed house with all the needed amenities. The house is located in Manuel Antonio Estates which is a gated community. This house overlooks the property management office , but is largely in the middle of the rainforest. The capuchins and squirrel monkeys will visit you daily and we had 2 sloths in front of the house. The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The property managers, Dorit and Sarah, were amazing. It was great having them close by. They helped us arrange a birding expedition and it was amazing. They were quick to help with any requests. I would definitely stay again.

We were at Mot Mot for 11 days. Great location, can walk to town or hop on the bus to Manuel Antonio. There were 8 in our group and this was perfect for us. Very clean, and daily housekeeping. Enjoyed the pool, cool but felt so good at the end of the day. Loved watching the monkey's play and the sloth in the nearby tree. We had a fridge problem the first day and they were there within minutes of reporting it, very attentive to any thing we had questions about. Would definitely stay here again. Great customer service, Angie was a fantastic resource, we hope she comes and visits us!

Fuimos un grupo de 9 personas, el lugar es muy lindo,tranquilo con una vista hermosa ya que está rodeado de plantas,es espacioso, tiene lavavajillas,lavarropas, secarropas, está como a 10 minutos de la playa pero si tienes autos eso no es problema, aconsejaría poner mosqueteros en los ventanales de las habitaciones. Villa Mot Mot was spacious, beautiful, clean and queit. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. Kids enjoyed the pool and the outside grill was handy as well.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Mot Mot! The property is beautiful & the house was just perfect for our needs. The 2 separate living areas were great & the kitchen size was very nice. We also loved the private pool, although the water was quite cool because there is so much shade- it would have been great if the pool was heated. There was a ton of wildlife around us- sloths, monkeys & macaws, which was amazing to see so close! Everywhere we traveled to was a short taxi ride away, so the location is very convenient to area attractions & to Manuel Antonio. It isn't really within walking distance to the town for kids, but adults could walk without a problem. Dorit & Elias were both fantastic! We will definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Manuel Antonio Estates. The desk help was fantastic; spoke great English and were very helpful in making our stay there wonderful. The location was assume there in the rain forest with monkeys and sloths around to watch and enjoy from our home and pool. I definitely recommend these properties.

Everything was accurate regarding the listing. The staff was more than helpful with anything we needed. Our only "slight" disappointment was the pool was not as private as pictured. You can be seen from the neighbor's rental and the main road. We didn't find it to be a big deal though, as the neighborhood was quiet and the other rental seemed to be on a different "pool schedule" than us. Cleaning service did a great job too. Even washed our dishes! Be prepared for steep climbs to and from the house. It was no problem for us, but those with mobility issues may have trouble without a car. The walk to Quepos was quick and there is plenty near by to do on foot. All the taxis we used to get up the "hill" to Manuel were friendly and knew exactly where the house was. We even had pizza delivered with no problems one night.

Would not stay anywhere else. Our trip was wonderful, the house exceptional and the staff were first class? We've stayed in the same house twice (MOT MOT) and in the area several times. We plan to retire in the area!

My husband and I took our two grandchildren to Manuel Antonio and stayed for 5 days in the Mot Mot Villa.It was nice to come home to, every day after hiking and zip lining. The kids enjoyed the pool,and we all had room to spread out.We didnt cook there,but everything is there for someone who wants to cook.Housekeeping wasnt that great, I was told to leave our clothes, and the maid would wash them. That didnt happen, so I did my own wash.She also would leave the towels in the washing machine every day,and we wound up drying them.No big deal,but I dont think they should tell people that it would be taken care of.Dorit and Elias were helpful,and Dorit answered all our questions about tours.My biggest complaint was not having someone to contact in the event of a problem.The last night,we were all tired,going to bed early.They rented the villa next to us to a very large family(we were told this the next day)who started partying and screaming for a few hours.We saw a guard walking around,asked him to contact the owners?to quiet them down.I guess eventually they did stop,but I called the only number I had-the office,and it was just voicemail. All in all we enjoyed the villa,but you never know whos also staying next door.My grandkids enjoyed seeing a family of monkeys near the pool every day,but we werent lucky enough to see the hummingbirds or any other animals, but maybe they were hiding that week

My husband and I got married on a beach near Manuel Antonio in 2008. We always said we were going to get back to that area and rent a house for our next visit. I have to say that Villa Mot Mot exceeded our expectations. We traveled with people including a five year old. Dorit made our experience incredible. Every question we had was answered, every reservation we wanted to make she took care of. We would all go back and visit in a heartbeat. The house was well maintained and the staff are extremely kind and helpful. Make sure and book some spa treatments...amazing! Overall we had an amazing time and met some really great people along the way.

This lovely 4 bedroom home was perfectly situated to be able to walk into Quepos, or drive up towards Manuel Antonio. We rarely heard street noise, and always heard monkeys howling, or rustling through the trees! Oh, and the frog song at sundown was spectacular! The pool temp was great by midday, as the sun warmed it up very nicely. My favourite spot was the hammock on the wraparound deck. Every day, we saw monkeys, dozens of birds, and sloths. One day, we found a sloth climbing down a tree in front of the home...that was a treat! As expected in a tropical environment, the deck would have a different selection of non-dangerous creatures show up every night (always different, ranging from anoles to locusts to beetles and frogs)...so we would watch our step! Daily housekeeping was wonderful (although 2 days were missed, presumably due to Semana Santa), and Dorit/Elias were very helpful in booking excursions. We had A/C issues in one of the bedrooms for the last 2 days, and they were not able to fix it while we were guests...unfortunately, this put one of the bedrooms out of order, as the A/C was beeping loudly and continuously. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and modern, which is always something I appreciate! Tonnes of restaurants and attractions in the area. A car is very helpful! Thanks for a lovely stay.
